If it's honestly not a ploy to scam people, why not just state on the front page and the buy page that there is a $24.95 per month fee that the customer will have to pay?
I sell software all day long (and have been doing so profitably for 3 years) and not once have I had to add hidden billing into the T&C in order to do well. Things like that come back to bite you in the ass 99% of the time, and also make the people who have links to it look like scammers as well. If it's not a scam then make it plain to see. It's simple. |

one of his scam programs http://conversioncash.com =convertedscam this guy is one of the worsed..he doesn't even pay ontime..let alone shave you to death.. fuck off hooper.. :1orglaugh |
as long as everything is legit and legal (which in this case it is) its all game. Its really not his fault if people dont read his TOS, if he can handle the phone calls and chargebacks then he can afford to do something like this.
Good program hooper, congrats. |
we've updated our join pages at 49th p's request.

With respect to Jettis bandwidth:
We are BGP multi homed and the traffic takes the shortest route. We have several Tier 1 providers servicing our network and multiple pops, east and west coast, to provide redundancy and the highest performance. Cogent has many products, the oversubscribed 100Mps (general office bandwidth) is NOT what we are using and the misapplication of that product to hosting has caused a majority of the complaints about Cogent. Our Cogent connections consist of GigE transit which is non-blocked, non-oversubscribed, 1,000 Mbps optical Internet connectivity. While we have had no problems with Cogent they are not our primary or only Internet connection and traffic is routed through their network via BGP. |

My My are we a little bitter.??... And mighty powerful and bold behind the keyboard but most likely a little bitch in person. Your tuff guy routine is getting old kid. I guess this console killing program won't destroy the industry as Ken's would of a year ago. Imagine that! |
fuck i own rights o pop up blockers and many other softwares ad blockers ip ad senders and other tools i would sell packages cheaper :winkwink:
|

You should! Competition is what it's all about. I was actually thinking of giving it away for free and paying 30 bucks a pop to webmasters....... |
Quote:
Now, try it the way an honest business would test price points and options..clearly advertise the $24.95 per month fee...I think you will be singing a different story. But again, why do I think for a minute that you will understand... |
i *understand* you just fine 49th.
it's not a comprehension issue, it's that this is our business so we'll do it as we see fit. launch your own program and you can do as you see fit. you're one of those people who likes to criticize, but you'll never put your own ass on the line for anything will ya? |
Quote:
But is it your right to blatently rip off the consumer ... nah.. That's where the criticism begins and ends. Again, nothing personal. I take a similar approach to all individuals and companies who take the low road...and throw common decency and business ethics to the wind. Feel free to come back and criticize me when you know how to build a real business... |
I wonder how many people are fully reading the TOS for idownload.com itself before signing up as affiliates...

If you're looking for somebody to pat you on the back for having a code of ethics, go to church. If you're looking for somebody who will admire you and look up to you buy a dog. You can keep bumping this thread if you'd like, cause I really dont mind. I've been posting long before you came around, and I'll be posting long after you're gone, because guys (or are you a girl?) like you who have their head up the popes ass almost always go away broke and disappointed :) I for one am here for profit. EVERYTHING I do is in the name of profit, even when I'm bashing competitors. Theres nothing hypocritical about it. Are you here for some other reason? If so you should really look around at who you're talking to. So with that said, make great $$$, promote iDownload.com products and sleep well at night knowing that our products have solved a problem that somebody was having with their computer :thumbsup |

:helpme Make up your fucking mind, fucktard |
Simple fact is...you have resorted to scam tactics to make your "profit". So, I repeat, when you have the skill to build a "real" business, then the sparring can continue. Until then...run along little doggie.
Here's another top notch program for those of you who don't want to screw the surfer... http://www.killercash.com Top notch...honest...and their programs work...with no need to join a shady Software of the month club. And warlock, you miss the point completely...I don't care about the "conversions". But simply put, why would you promote a piece of crap, when you could promote much better programs, which are a win-win for both you and the ordering public. |
Jesus 49th! You just sitting there pressing f-5 over and over and over again waiting for Hooper to post again!! HAHAHA you need something else to do with your time!
And what exactly do you do 49th? |
Quote:
anyways... Hooper: It seems a little silly to have the text there in the terms if you're not actually billing customers on a recurring basis at the moment. Surely you're just scaring off potential customers. If they're not going to be rebilled, get rid of the text for now and i'm sure you'll make a few more sales. You mentioned great customer satisfaction. Stocktrader23 asked earlier about customer satisfaction, and how you measure it and you replied with number of chargebacks/refunds/support requests per sale. You honestly don't see these numbers changing if you implement the recurring charges? |
sparring? is that really what you think we're doing?
you're an idiot. get some business experience, then we'll talk. til then you are just keeping my announcement alive, thanks :) Promote http://www.idownload.com and get paid for every sale. Make your money with professional marketers, not clueless programmers. |
150 New Program Announcements :glugglug
|
151 New Webmasters..
Damnit. You beat me to 150 ;-) |
www.killercash.com
The honest, high converting alternative. |
hahaha, i bet you're from canada huh?
|
yeah, promote killercash if you feel like promoting STOLEN software.
Apparently 49th thinks it's better to have passive billing and sell stolen products than it is to develop your own. You arent very good at picking horses are you? |
49th dingleberry?
whats up? im laughing my ass off here, you are advocating that people promote stolen software over our in house developed products? install spykiller and then install adaware (the most respected free adware detector/remover) and adaware reports spykiller as using a stolend adaware database. lol! go shove your head back up your ass where it came from.. hahaha http://www.idownload.com - where you wont be selling stolen goods :) |
And the crouds wait in silence for a rebuttle........................................
|

And, killercash doesn't play by the same rules as the scam artists on this board. So, before you make empty claims (unlike the claims I have made about your techniques) you best do your research a little better..or...as any good lawyer would say...I smell libel. I must say you have an interesting approach to justifying your crooked sales techniques. Let's see, what would this be called..oh yah, deflection. P.S. My definition of "stolen". - a software program that hides a sleazy monthly membership charge in the T & C's, so as to steal a customer's money. example -idownloadcrap.com |
ok, well tell his lawyer to contact mine and we'll pay them 400 bucks an hour to talk.
i could care less. i'm sure he appreciates you making legal threats on his behalf. your agenda becomes more clear every post you make Brian :) |
didnt you know that the first person who starts issuing legal threats loses?
