You bought it on Ebay, was it new? Was it refurbished?

Anyway, warranties do not cover accidents. I really don't think so.

That sucks man - that A70 is a killer little camera. I almost bought one myself (cause I needed a little point-n-shoot) but instead spent a little more and got a Canon S400 Elph. This little camera kicks my ass
