1) where did you get this information from? http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bs?s=ACTG The financials state around $34M in cash, but even that is questionable as to if that money is readily available to be used in litigation, when in their 3Q call, they specifically stated that only $1M was set aside for litigation 2) what about about the actual 11 defendants who are going to court on Feb 6th to defend their companies against the patent claims? did you forget that? If you signed because you felt it was your best business decision.. then defend your decision, don't defend acacia unless you truly believe they have something that is valid. Alot of companies that settled believe the patent claims are bogus, but it was cheaper for them to settle than to fight. Fight the Interjection! |

I'm pretty sure that epiccash didn't give their affiliates info away because they have my info and I didn't get any letter...

you think I was happy about settleing? I put it off for as long as I could. what part of running a business do you not understand? jesus, its like you guys are in fucking highschool. --- Alot of companies that settled believe the patent claims are bogus, but it was cheaper for them to settle than to fight. --- bingo, If I had 10 million or 100 million in the bank, then id fight. I dont so wtf is the hard part to understand here? |

hey, Pimpdog,
do you have McDonald's permission to use their logo in your sig? http://www.mcdonalds.com/images/global_splash/arch.jpg your lawyers won't save you ass on this one..... I'm giving you till 9 am eastern tomorrow to take it off before McDonald's lawyers see it |
hey serge, are all the other sponsors on that list sellouts too? or just Epic Cash?
why dont you start a thread calling all the others out too? Or is this just personal? |

Nothing against epic cash or any others that settled:
But - Why didn't any of them look at all the options? Rather than give in to acacia thuggery, I checked out that their claims had no chance in Europe - I bought servers and placed them in a Dutch data centre - The cost of a 100mpt pipe there is about the same as it is in the Usa - The cost of the servers and admin is about half the price - I will save around 15K this year and will certainly not have the slightest problem with acacia - I also know of another sponsor - Much larger than me - Who has done exactly the same. It's only a matter of thinking logically - |

this si only business ;-))) and YES, EVERYBODY on that list are sell outs too. NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN! (do you see how nice to be in the position not to kiss anybody's ass?) so...the question you never answered: how shit taste like? |
I wonder what's wrong with some people... Without wanting to defend epiccash or anyone else, but who do you guys think you are?
What gives you the right to tell others how to do or who to do business with? Don't like like something? DON'T PROMOTE IT, and if you care share the info you have. But don't start bullshitting like "Time for a boycott". We all have our information now and can all make our own dessicions. |

you wrote: "Do some of you know that they have like 115 million in the bank? what about the supposed lawsuits that other companies filed against acacia, and as a result ended up settling with acacia? did we forget that?" sounds like defensive comments to me I have stated before, and I state it here again, I am not in favor of people boycotting companies who settled, that's why i stayed out of the thread.... until i posted to reflect the mis-information that you posted. The reason I don't support boycotts, is maybe those that settled will step up and help those fighting from behind the scenes. Fight the GirlBedding! |

With all that said it's your right to make what you feel are smart biz decisions and everyone else has the right to call you a sellout and not promote you. |
