Other domains that were promoting AP were pointed toward other sponsors.
Domains that promote their 10 dollar sites will be repointed tomorrow as there are many domains to repoint.
Are you going to sell it ? Do you have any horror or bizarre related names ?

While afiliates refuse to band together and are happy to work for the guy who offers the highest payouts, before shaving, things like this will continue to happen.

There is no proof here just circumstantial evidence and you can read into it what you will.

There is however an excellent opportunity to make money here though. A "Federation of Affiliates" would be an excellent way of protecting yourselves and making money.

Chraging $10 a month and doing things like protecting them;

From having their sites ripped off by pirates.
Finding out who is shaving for definite, it's easy get 20 people to sign up off a link and hey presto if you do not see 20 sign ups in your stats you are being shaved.
Seeing who is working honestly, the sign ups need to be real and not from a suspiciuos source, then if you are accused of wrong doing you can come back with AUTHORITY.
Having a list of reccommended sites and a list of those to avoid.
Making sure you know who is licensed with Acacia and who is not.

Plus I'm sure many other things like hosting tips, design, etc.

Might be best done by a non US webmaster as we know how easy it is to scare Americans with the threat of legal action.

So why has no one done this? Probably because affiliates would never support it and work together. So they get screwed, but them a few drinks in Vegas and they will forgive you. Who is still sending traffic to an Acacia licensee?

But a site like this could have hundreds signed up al send $10 a month. you just have to make it worth $10 a month.

It's easier than that :: promote affiliates that offer a third party tracking services like ibill.com. If you still fell that you stats are being deflated, leave. There are honest sponsors, but a very limited number.

Go back about 24 hours and read all the threads about CCBill suddenly changing its interface so that affiliates have full info on which of their sponsors were shaving them.

Third party does not equal shave-proof, unfortunately.

You mean a third party processor will not shave for a big program?

You are way too trusting. They can make sign ups disapear with no trouble. But as I said until webmasters get together they have no protection.

I have read and I have concluded.

Lensman, pay the man. If it was your software glitches then that is what it is and the man is owed his fair worth. I program and I fuck up once in a while (long while). I know you can't be right all the time so shit happens. So be a man and handle it and say, hey bro, no need to make a federal case out of it, here, now be gone.

As for the wistle blower, good for you. But don't take it to far. You are in a close-nit industry and to point out a flaw is money in your pocket, to point out someone character flaws is nails in your coffin.

As Rodney King used to say, before going to jail again for beating his wife and kids and buying crack cocain and heroin, "Can't we all just get along?"

God, I'd love to see this court case!

Mlin2: Your honor, Lensman shaved me and he's gay! Waaaa...
Judge: And what proof do you have?
Mlin2: I have screen shots of my stats before and after conversion.
Judge: And who's to say their new system doesn't scrub harder?
Mlin2: Uhhhh...

As I said earlier, Lensman has a stronger case of libel against you.

No, it doesn't necessarily have to generate more signups with a lower price. That is an assumption which may or may not hold true. Higher REBILLS I can definately see. But a change in price to a lower one DOES NOT automatically mean a higher join rate.

Normally you would think that surfers would jump at something that was priced so much lower, but that's not always true. An overwhelming majority of the public associates price with value.

A $30 site gives the impression that it really must kick ass inside to be priced so high. There must be tons of content in there and live video and all kinds of things that only the most expensive sites have.

A $10 site, on the other hand, gives the impression that it's so cheap because there isn't shit inside. Surfers doubt it based simply on the price, they think it's a rip-off. They expect to go inside and find 10 photo sets and a thousand attempts at getting them to pay more money for the really good stuff.

Never underestimate the power of PERCEPTION.
That's what i said, only shorter, on another board and here.

This month month I went from 1:300 for 2 months to 1:690 so far. I don't push huge traffic so could just be a slow month so far.

Feel free to hit me up on those domains you don't want anymore or are havuing a hard time converting.
