Simple rules of Vegas for those who might not know. Especially for Internext. I will for the next 2 hours answer any and all questions as well.

1) Tip everyone, Vegas rule you must know.

2) Order coffee and a bite to eat before heading down to the show floor.

3) Drink hot tea with lemon and honey on the late night tip to preserve your throat, it will be dry and soar. (guys, it doesn't make you a metrosexual)

4) Bring a humidifier if you can for the room, if not, drink hot tea at night.

5) Sleep before you get to Vegas, rest up now. It's not a race, it's a marathon. Some people stay up all night before heading out, packing and last second getting shit together. Get your shit done then sleep up before you head out.

6) If you're a newbie, don't waste big players time by asking stupid questions. STFU, newbie. "So what do you guys do? What do you mean by traffic? "

7) Wash your hands every 30 minutes. You'll shake so many porn peoples hands, it's a good idea to keep them clean. Bring hand wipes.

8) If a boob hits you on the head on the last day of the show, it's not real, it's the CEcash boob war. Duck.

9) Go to as many parties as you can, don't worry about waking up early unless you have to work a booth. Just as much gets done at night, maybe more.

10) Stop by the Players Ball booth, holla at a playa.

11) Don't pass gas in big groups, then walk away.

12) Don't hate. No fighting, no arguing, just chill out and be nice. Webmasters tend to speak their minds, too much.

13) If someone has incredibly sweaty cold clammy hands. They did E the night before, or something hard like that.

14) Pull KB's finger. He always has one ready. Good old fashioned fun right there.

15) Don't wreck anyones room or party facility. In the past a few people have gotten out of hand, don't be an idiot. If you are this way and can't help it, don't go to the Players Ball.

16) Brad Shaw isn't really working the door at the Players Ball, it was a joke. But if he is working it, tip him.

17) Too Short is a webmaster like the rest of us now. Talk with him, do deals with him, smoke him out, have fun. He's a fun guy, likes to hang, and loves to make money. So send him your traffic when the official launch of the pimpandho.com partner program is released, should be soon. The site has been launched, converting awesome. He'll be at my booth, #439 for the Players Ball.

18) Thank people like Lensman for providing a service you really appreciate. It's always nice to hear a thanks.

19) Believe half of what KB says. He steals the other half from my life experiences and passes it off as his.

good as place to ask as any and I was going to ask anyway - we are complete virgins to the city of Vegas as a hole, not just the convention so sorry if it is very basic -

Other than cabs and walking are there other ways to get up and down the strip? Some sites mention a trolley service and then others say it isn't running anymore. I live in a city so I am more than used to waiting for public transport.

I built a live cam co brand and I am not making any money how come.

I go look at the traffic and the only person to visit the site was them. Hahhaha they thought if they build a co brand we send the traffic and they get a check

so the next big thing is sponsors send traffic to their own sites and pay you to look at your stats all day hahahahah

Trolly? I don't remember seeing a trolly in Vegas. Hell, I don't remember seeing any form of public transportation on the strip but I'm sure it was there.

Your hotel will probably drive you to and from the airport (just call when you get there). Most parties and events have free transportation.

Also it's proper courtesy to tell another webmaster when they have "coke donut rings" on their nostrils....

It always makes me giggle when I hear half of these webmasters tell me they don't party anymore while they are jibbed out and have this conspicuous powder beneath their nose......

When passing a joint in Vegas "puff puff pass " is proper protocol...don't slobber on it, and pass it along to another webmaster who may be a germophobe-

When going to strip club bear in mind that if you don't have " "Fuck You Money" don't try to impress the webmaster next to you- Your next housepayment may be in jeopardy, and for what so yuo can pay some ho's boyfriend's rent?

Great advice. Last convention I thought I'd be a nice guy and help someone out with some awesome advice and he questioned all of my advice. I have never seen a trolley in Vegas . . . some hotels have their own shuttle services from their hotel to malls, etc

just for fyi one example of a page talking about a vegas trolley service - http://www.fyivegas.com/travel/trolley.html but I have kind of figured out that sites like that are old are out of date and it has stopped running.

Walking is not a big deal, you get used to it in London.

It is some of the best advice I have seen about Vegas in a long time, Rands @ Jerkcity has one that I always do now...

The home outfit is the set of clothes you wear home. Doesn't matter what it is, what does matter is that you put it in some type of plastic bag before you get to Vegas. Why? Well, no matter how hard you try, EVERYTHING on your suitcase is going to smell of stale smoke. Doesn't matter if you don't smoke, doesn't matter if you get a non-smoking room. Using a home outfit can help set the stage for a comfortable transition back to reality.

Check out http://www.rtcsouthernnevada.com/cat.htm for bus schedules. I used it last july when I was in vegas, to go from downtown to the strip.

http://www.rtcsouthernnevada.com/route_301_302_nb.htm is the strip busses. And all are ADA accessable with wheelchair lifts :-)

As long as the weather permits you should take the long way whenever possible. Walk or take the monorail. That way you get to take it all in. Nothing that you would do will be too far from the hotel unless you have to go off the strip or to the old part of the strip which you probably won't.

because my hotel is half way down the strip and If I am going to go back to it a couple times a day and there is an alternative that cost $2 I will use it. Plus, hubby is on a wheelchair so not all cabs can take him.

Doesn't matter what it is, what does matter is that you put it in some type of plastic bag before you get to Vegas. Why? Well, no matter how hard you try, EVERYTHING on your suitcase is going to smell of stale smoke. Doesn't matter if you don't smoke, doesn't matter if you get a non-smoking room. That way you get to take it all in.
