They had a special on this last night on TV. They were having hundreds of ppl buried at once. They were using industrial type of equipment just to dig massive holes. It's really bad over there right now.

Nothing of this magnitude would happen in LA from just an earthquake, no matter how bad it was because a very high percentage of the buildings in California are built with earthquakes in mind. Now if a Tsunami hit as a result of the earthquake, it could be real bad. In Iran, the buildings just weren't made as well as the ones in CA.

Of course, I do agree that what happened in Iran is a tragedy though.

this is very sad ... it happens, nature will fuck you up and it likes to remind us every once in a while. anyone can go at anytime ... thats a sad part of life...

but i live far away from any fault lines on purpose. I have 3-4 days notice if a hurricane is coming, and tornados only hit trailer parks.

ill probably get struck by lightning.
