Dumb affiliate program sales reps annoy the fuck out of me
This has happened to me at least 3 times over the past month:
I get contacted by an affiliate program sales rep who says he saw my site and thinks my traffic would do really well with his program. When I ask which site of that would be... no answer. Not surprising, since my ICQ number is listed on none of my sites. Now, I do not mind being contacted by affiliate programs. Hell, I make my money with them, so ofcourse I'll be interested. I don't care if my icq number was snatched from a list either. However, if the very first thing a company says to me is a LIE, why in the world would I trust that company not to shave and to send me my checks?
