Dumb affiliate program sales reps annoy the fuck out of me
 

This has happened to me at least 3 times over the past month:
I get contacted by an affiliate program sales rep who says he saw my site and thinks my traffic would do really well with his program.
When I ask which site of that would be... no answer.
Not surprising, since my ICQ number is listed on none of my sites.

Now, I do not mind being contacted by affiliate programs. Hell, I make my money with them, so ofcourse I'll be interested. I don't care if my icq number was snatched from a list either.

However, if the very first thing a company says to me is a LIE, why in the world would I trust that company not to shave and to send me my checks?

what i really hate is that at first they pretend to be friendly, talking about how good your sites are, aout the biz etc, and then BAM !! "Why don't you try out our new program ?"

you have a point here...but they are just trying to get more business...kinda stupid they dont reply back though...

Oh, they do reply, they just don't answer, making the lie even more painfully obvious.

And getting business I can understand... trying to get business by lying in the first place I don't get though. A big part of business relationships is trust, after all.
