Well it's a birthday that I might dread (29th dec)... for those that already passed 30, what can I expect? Grey hair etc...

I can only speak as a woman....
but, I thought 30 wasn't so great....35 was much better..... Forty, on the other hand.....kicked ass.... Both middle fingers went up and haven't come down yet.. But... A birthday is a birthday...it's one more year our sorry asses are on this earth, which is infiinitely better than sleeping with the fishes or eating worms..or fertilising a tree.. So....celebrate...you sweet young thangs....until you can't do it any more. Happy Birthday to all you December Babies!

I just turned 30 on oct 8th
it sucked!! ass I mean nothing changed it was just the fact that it is 30!!!! And for some reason it seems to hurt more when i get outa bed!!! Takes a little longer to go up stairs and Bowling is becomeing a major part of my life! |

you shouldnt be in any worse physical shape in your 30's than you were in your 20's... but at 30 a man starts to grow his brain
I'm 33 now and much wiser than when in my 20's, and except from have a bad accident earlier this year i'm no different than I was at 29 dont stress about it, its nothing Besides, girls like older men

The thing that is fucked up is that when a woman gets older past 30, she becomes less attractive to men and will get less attention. But the older a man gets, he wil appear more "distinguished" if he has money and still can get younger women. Luckily I am blessed with good genes so when I hit 30 I will pass for 21 hopefully, since I'm 25 now and can pass for 18.
But it's still messed up how there's a double standard. There's nothing more depressing than a woman losing her youth and beauty.  For a guy it's no big deal but for a woman it's very important to look as young and beautiful as you can and it's extremely depressing to turn old, well, I can't speak for ALL women, but for me it is. I will be VERY depressed once I hit 30. Sometimes youth and beauty is all a woman has. (not ME, I DO have other good qualities, but for some people I know, I think they would rather die young and beautiful than become old)I hope I get to be like Demi Moore when I get older and date a young stud like Ashton |
