Forty, on the other hand.....kicked ass....

A birthday is a birthday...it's one more year our sorry asses are on this earth, which is infiinitely better than sleeping with the fishes or eating worms..or fertilising a tree..

Dude 30 is not all that bad, on my 30th I went out and picked me up a hot little 19 year old cutie.....shit I still get ID'd at clubs. You're only as old as you let yourself be. Go out and rip it up and live everyday like it's your last :winkwink:

Statistically, American men start hitting their most successful years in their mid 30s and hit their top form in mid 50's. This is true of professors, lawyers, doctors, engineers (those that didn't get laid off and outsourced to India), and it may yet be true about webmasters. Granted, our early history is riddled with 19 yr old millionaires...there's definitely going to be a maturation of the industry.

I turned 30 a week ago, so I can't really give you any advice yet. The birthday itself was fun, I got treated to dinner and a nice evening alone with my SO.

Only 10 years until my life begins...

The thing that is fucked up is that when a woman gets older past 30, she becomes less attractive to men and will get less attention. But the older a man gets, he wil appear more "distinguished" if he has money and still can get younger women. Luckily I am blessed with good genes so when I hit 30 I will pass for 21 hopefully, since I'm 25 now and can pass for 18.

But it's still messed up how there's a double standard. There's nothing more depressing than a woman losing her youth and beauty. :( For a guy it's no big deal but for a woman it's very important to look as young and beautiful as you can and it's extremely depressing to turn old, well, I can't speak for ALL women, but for me it is. I will be VERY depressed once I hit 30. Sometimes youth and beauty is all a woman has. (not ME, I DO have other good qualities, but for some people I know, I think they would rather die young and beautiful than become old)

I hope I get to be like Demi Moore when I get older and date a young stud like Ashton :(
