Aside from that, I have the feeling that the indsutry will change for the worse in the next few years. Even more saturation, more problems and more risks is something I'm not really looking forward to.
Sorry to say - it is business and it is a real job with responsibilities

as far as it changing, yes it will and I hope it does - you never want an industry stale, but you also have to change with it. Over 9 years and going, I had to be flexible, and these recent changes only means I will have to rethink some strategies.

the friendships are awesome, and the webmasters are awesome to work with. Very few jobs out there that your not behind some screen, but the benefits definitely outway the negatives.

Hang in there before you make a mistake of working elsewhere then realize that this is the place you want to be.

I work both Adult and Mainstream Internet businesses that I have assembled over the last few years now.

Nothing ever lasts in life, I'd rather be able to meet my clients needs for any serivces they need on most any products and services that they ask about.

Last summer I did some Mainstream consulting (4 horus worth of work) and made $2,000 cash for the day. That takes place now about 1x a month to every 6 weeks and this isnt the hardest thing in the world to do.

Adult webmasters for the most part are very savvy folks from a technical perspective. You can use that knowledege in Mainstream and make out quite nicely in the consulting field these days.

Mainstream is easier for working with, getting paid on time and not disappearing on you since they have a physical location you can contact them at and not just email / ICQ.

Make all you can or else someone else will
