On a more serious note, how big of a room do you need to do front projection, cause my buddy is getting a tv and im gonna go pick it out with him, he doesnt have a lot of room so can he still do a big front projection?

Sleazy:

Who makes that thin TV you posted the picture for? I've never seen anything like that or heard about anything like that in development.

I've been researching tvs myself and have found that by jumping up a bit in cost, a 50" Panasonic/Pioneer plasma it well worth the extra bucks over the DLP/LCD rear projection models. You just can't beat the viewing angles, sharpness, black levels, clarity, brightness of a plasma.

I never said it was mine, I said the tv was 110" and I Love it, I know who owns it, and it is definitely not bradshaw.

60" widescreen REAR PROJECTION - 10" thick

uses curved mirrors to achieve it's size.

when I was shopping for a big screen - the rear projection tvs (the better ones) were much clearer and brighter than plasma ones.

they will start to hit stores next year...
