I doubt it. And I don't even care what sponsor this is.

I know of a few sponsors that shave FOR SURE just by doing test signups on their sites every once in a while.

I've even told a few people that they shave and they don't care. Almost all sponsors shave, if people make good money with a certain sponsor, they're not going to stop using them because they shave.

I even still use some sponsors that shave because I make more with them than other programs, even if they do shave.

It's all about the money in my wallet at the end of the month, not what ratio I'm getting.

Someone must not have read the notorious California Business & Professional Code §17538.4. law or not really use an attorney much. Honestly using this law California based webmasters could in effect bring this poster up on a crap load of individual lawsuits. Not saying that would be ethical nor would I do it, yet attempting to profit off of other webmasters to pay for someone else cheating them is pretty damn low.

So for less than 100.00 any person in California could make the posters life pretty fucked up.

I personally find it unethical to shave, and also unethical to have proof of someone cheating others and trying to charge for that info.

Although there are quite a few sponsors I don't think very highly of, I have not seen any sponsor pull a stunt as blatantly sleazy as this one.

I doubt you will get your payoff.......

I find it very disturbing that a fellow webmaster knows and has proof of a sponsor cheating and is not just sharing that info.

If I had this information, I would be putting it out where the rest of the industry can see it right away.

If I did'nt I would feel guilty about being resposible for others being ripped off.

I seem to hear alot of people complaining about being ripped off for different products and services etc.

personally I think this is a pretty low stunt, not saying you don't have good busniess pratices in other areas. But when you come out a claim you know a sponser is shaving and have "proof" yet you won't show unless someone pays you 1k.

Well quite honestly it seems to me to be pretty dam unethical ..specially when you know they are stealing money from other webmasters in this biz.. maybe you will do the right thing and either and give out your info. Then agin maybe you wont.

Several people have asked me not to post the proof as they have business dealings with this sponsor...I'm thinking it over for two reasons: one - I don't want to put NON-crooked people out of business; two - However, I KNOW none of these people would give a second thought to fucking up my money if they had the chance so it's pretty hard for me to care about the fallout they get.

Jimmy gave it away before... how many sponsors do you know that has "dollars" in it? Lets make a list, that should narrow it down!

I thought all the sponsors shave? Why would I pay $1k just to be given one of their names?

See, if they owed me $1k, and I exposed them... then I'd have lost $1k, but had some satisfaction. But this way, I'm losing $1k and there's no satisfaction... all I've done is ratted out someone who did me no wrong.
