I am also offended by someone thinking the US is being run into the ground. We have our problems, but nothing worse than we've been through before in history. 2003 America cannot hold a candle to The Great Depression and the suffering those people endured.

I think Americans and non-Americans should just step back and be thankful for all that we do have. Even if you or her or him or they aren't the wealthiest people due to the economy, just being able to have electricity and a computer to get on the net with, is a lot different than countries that are being run into the ground and/or impoverished and oppressed.
