You've made it to 2279 stupid posts.

When you get to 3000 maybe everyone else will have you on their ignore list too.

GFY just so you know I am trying to do something for myself, not for my employers or anyone else.

If I asked you to post all your new projects in a public place you as a webmaster would tell me to GF Myself :-)

You send me a mail I refer you to the company thats it job done, I have to cover my back as if you make an enquirey directly to them then I am blown out of there.

Also I have to ask people specific question re the business which most of you guys would not wish to discuss in an open forum.

As I say its your call, but if you wanna process EU Cards rather than spend time trying to all the research surely it makes sense to contact me :-)

hmm, and what's up with rebills?

What's the deal with EU merchant accounts and Netbilling, exactly?

We are setting up EU accounts and processing. If you are processing around 50k or more per month, it is easier to setup. You will need an EU corp. and our provider is setting those up as well.

Contact our sales department Monday to get the ball rolling.

I know this... but I was referring to:

"We were in the middle of applying for EU based merchant
accounts a few months ago when Netbilling, oxbill, glo-bill and a
few others had trouble with accounts."

What's the details about Netbilling having trouble with accounts?

Do you still support ecommerceservicesuk?

I think that was actually a typo, netbilling didn't have problems
with banks. Netbilling is more of a service provider than a bank or
3rd party. Netbilling was just having trouble finding accounts for
people because of larger problems with banks. ECB had some
problems with the places they deal with, and were mentioned by
another biller just recently in some email regarding holdbacks.

It appears Mitch has now sorted out some solutions that
webmasters can get up and running without the same level of
hassle we were having a few months ago.

We were trying a lot of different avenues for merchant account
based billing over a period of months and I had contacted most
people in that part of the industry at the time.

I'm sure others know more about the internal politics of the
situation and I think there are more then a few NDA's flying
around. However from where I was standing it appeared as if EU
banks which had in the past been processing for "high risk"
merchants all of a sudden got very cold and scared. You could
feel a real reluctance to take on any new clients during that
period. I was told by ECB that a major EU bank was handling
most of the transactions for adult sites and I could see many
companies were affected by this same bank. Some major billing
companies had hickups which didn't immediately affect their
payouts while others were pretty much stopped in their tracks.

So what about the "new merchant relationship" Jettis was working on feverishly last week? Looks like nothing worked out.

My opinion for what its worth

Jettis should contact another IPSP with an EU account, and work on transferring the DB so the webmasters keep their rebills.

Its been done b4, and it can be done again

Just a thought!

As far as I can see from my weekend sales data jettis has been processing ALL due credit card rebills until today like usual. Clicking on my join links I would still be able to join using VISA...

Maybe they found a solution for it.

In the end jettis would not want loose at least all the VISA EU rebills for the sake of their own sales. Remember ACPay (EGSPay) doing the same since July 2003? EGSPay is still processing all active customers like clockwork but simply not accepting new sign-ups.

I think jettis will do exactly the same with the EU VISA rebills.

Anyone else seeing his jettis EU rebills processed like normal?

Interesting to hear davidoff, and it sounds like things with the EU solution at Jettis might be corrected already.

Check the news when you login your Jettis account.

It says they are currently batching all signups while searching an alternative bank.

Yeah just rang em after getting an email saying they'll transfer
our PSW accounts...... but....

From what they've said so far in that email it looked like "we
aren't gunna do it no more, it's too hard".... I now notice the bit
at the bottom that says they are looking for other banks.... They
really should have put that in big red flashing lights in the sky. As
it stands I still see it as "EU is hard, we probably won't do it
anymore". This reaks of other processors that said "Nah we are
fine, we're smarter than those other guys that had to close...
They didn't know what we know... We'll be around forever....
oh.... um.... due to unforeseen circumstances... blah blah"

Important Notice - Jettis EU Clients Follow Up
As a follow up to our previous announcement regarding Visa EU processing, we would like to offer the following update. As outlined, we have been working on a new EU processing alternative, which we anticipate having up and running very soon. In the meantime, recurring billing has been held in anticipation of this alternative. Additionally, to prevent a loss in revenue, all new Visa attempts are being batched and will be reprocessed upon launching the new EU processor. While we believe this to be the best solution for our Jettis EU clients, we do understand that some merchants may not wish their transactions to be batched. If you prefer batching to cease for your account and to disable Visa processing in the interim, please advise Jettis Client Services as soon as possible and we will be happy to do so.
Also, it is important to note that this notice has no effect whatsoever on Jettis Clients based in the US.

As always, we encourage you to call or email us with any questions you may have.

Regards,

Team Jettis

Visa EU Update

Important Notice - Jettis EU Clients Follow Up
As a follow up to our previous announcement regarding Visa EU processing, we would like to offer the following update. As outlined, we have been working on a new EU processing alternative, which we had anticipated having up and running by this time. However, this is taking a little longer than expected. In the meantime, recurring billing continues to be held in anticipation of this alternative.

Until now, all new Visa attempts were being batched. As launching this EU Alternative is experiencing delays, we feel it is in the best interest of our EU clients, as well as the cardholders to cease batching these transactions.

Also, it is important to note that this notice has no effect whatsoever on Jettis Clients based in the US.

As always, we encourage you to call or email us with any questions you may have.

Regards,

Team Jettis

Hi Mitch,

I applied for a merchant account as a eu CLIENT but this is what you responded :

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in Netbilling.
Unfortunately at this time we do not have a merchant account solution for
some companies requesting offshore accounts.

However if you can obtain a merchant account on one of the following platforms/processors FDR type 0, FDR type 7, Visanet, Vital, Nova, ECBP, Wirecard, & Surefire and Global Payment Systems we will be glad to process for you.

We are working on developing various options for our offshore requests.
You would like me to send you information as those relationships develop?
Please let me know how you would like to proceed...

Regards,

Karen Campbell
