Finding Nemo is great! I watched it for the first time this weekend. Has anyone else watched it? What did you think?

Just keep swimming...

The BEST animated movie in a LONG time. I have a friend who works for Pixar and she has gotten a FAT bonus because of the $$ this movie has brought in!

I thought it was awesome too really. I am not one to watch too many Disney movies, but this one was about fish, and I am all about the fish!

I loved the seagulls........they were saying "Mine, Mine, Mine", as seagulls are always so greedy and always fighting over food.

Then the crabs that kept flinging their claws up and yelling "hey!"

The director/writers just did a great job of capturing the characteristics of some of the animals! It was hilarious!

If you watch....they always say "mine" when they see anything that looks like food.... and if they aren't sure if they can get the food they say "Mine?"

"It has become a matter of some debate as to what the one word vocabulary the seagulls use actually is. The choices are Mate or Mine. Being set in Sydney the majority of harbour life speak in an Australian accent and the vast majority of Australians questioned having watched the film recognized the word said as Mate. However a great deal of Americans are certain that the word is Mine. Its massive repetition in both contexts is funny but is considered more humorous by Australians and those who have spent a lot of time amongst them as Mate than Mine. Conversely Americans don't understand why Mate is at all funny and consider Mine!Mine!Mine! to be a more valid term of phrase given the Seagull's behavior."

I bought the movie for my son for Christmas, but couldn't possibly wait that long, so we watched it last week. What a GREAT movie. One of my favorite parts was the Shark 12 step meeting, that was killer, and the "rad" turtles. hehe

It has become evident that Aussies have a hearing problem. What the seagulls are saying sounds NOTHING like "mate".

Finding Nemo is an incredible movie!!
We were driving to dinner Sunday evening and from the back of the van, my Mom pipes up and starts singing "just keep swimming swimming swimming"...
