If you had a medium sized knife in your pocket, and were downtown lets say at night, and a guy comes over to you and pulls out a knife that is about the same size as yours, and tells you to give him your wallet, what would you do, HONESTLY.

I know over the internet everyone wants to be a tough guy, but lets think about this like it's really happening to you, and tell me the truth. How would you react in this situation?

I witnessed an armed robery once, guy with a gun robbed two friends of mine I stood there in shock while the whole thing happened, a million thoughts ran through my head as he ran past me with a gun and my friends money, trip him, fuck that he has a gun, push him knock him down, fuck that he has a gun, run after him, fuck that he has a gun, in the end I just stood there and watched the whole thing happen and was glad he didn't get my money or shoot any of us.

My friends were like girl "why didn't you do this or why didn't you do that...blah blah blah I would have done blah blah blah" you never know how you're going to react to a situation until you are actually in it.

You reacted in the best possible way - you did nothing, which most probably saved your life or the lives of your friends. Read my post above, if you are being robbed and you life is not threatened, you give the robber(s) what they want, money, car, watch, etc No matter how valuable they are, you can replace them, but once you die, you die for good ;)

It happend to me, I was in a bad part of town and I had to use a payphone because my gf kept 2waying me and my cell was dead. So I pull over and use a payphone, while Im on the phone these guys pull up behind my car and one approaches me and asked if I can give him $5 I was like naw sorry, I turn back around and tell my girl I have to go somethings going to happen, as soon as I put the phone down I turn around and have a gun in my mouth and a knife at my throat and these guys are saying that they are going to kill me cuz they know that I am from a rival gang cuz of my tattoos, I was like man what do you want take everything! Keep in mind that I was coming back from the hospital after my son was in surgery for 5 hours, so the only thing I could think about was dying and that it was the last time I was going to see my son. The guy with the knife walked to my car pulled my stereo out and grabbed my CD case the came to me and took my 2way and my wallet and left. Luckily I never keep money in my wallet I always keep it in my front pocket, if the would have went for it they would have came up on $700.

You never know what you would do until it happens, scary shit I though I was dying that day. When I seen this thread I thought fuck that I would fight, but then I remebered what happend 6 years ago. Be smart, the money isn't worth it!

I've been robbed in the past when I was younger, I did in fact stab a guy once trying to rob, and another time I just gave up the cash and couldn't be bothered. Really about where your heads at at that moment.

When I was working graveyards at a gas station, one night some little punk azn kid tried to hold me up with a deer-skinner. Now, this kid is maybe 5', I'm 6'1" and standing on a platform that's a few inches high, so I'll give him props for being ballsy.

Anyways, he pulls out this knife and waves it at me, he can barely reach over the counter cuz he's such a squat fucker, shouting at me in badly inflected english 'give me all your money'... so I reach down, grab the louisville slugger under the counter and say "I'm going to give you to the count of five before I come over this counter and cave in your fucking head."

He was quick, too. Out the door by the time I hit three, nearly at the edge of the property before I hopped the counter and started chasing at five.

When the asst. manager came in at 6am to do shift change, I told him to go in the back and look at the surveilance tape. I could hear him laughing through the cinderblock wall... of course, he came back trying to look all serious telling me that I should have just given him the money.
