It's complete bullshit.

Put very simply, after the US forces have had months and months to question ex-Iraqi soldiers, policiticians and scientists, if there was ANY information that substantiated this type of claim, it would be all over the newspapers.

Utter bullshit.

Damn..You just don't get it do you? Even when the government's own task force says the information you are quoting is INCORRECT!!

You must STILL be waiting for the Viet Cong to surrender to the United States also!

Utter bullshit.
What specifically do you think is complete bullshit?

Your lack of comprehension is a major problem for you.

From the DOD release...

"News reports that the Defense Department recently confirmed "NEW INFORMATION" with respect to contacts between al-Qaida and Iraq in a letter to the Senate Intelligence Committee are inaccurate."

From the Weekly Standard release...

"It was written in response to a request from the committee as part of its investigation into prewar intelligence claims made by the administration. Intelligence reporting included in the 16-page memo comes from a variety of domestic and foreign agencies, including the FBI, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Agency. Much of the evidence is detailed, conclusive, and corroborated by multiple sources.
Quote:
Some of it is NEW INFORMATION obtained in custodial interviews with high-level al Qaeda terrorists and Iraqi officials, and some of it is more than a decade old.
The picture that emerges is one of a history of collaboration between two of America's most determined and dangerous enemies."

It is the "NEW INFORMATION" that the DOD release is referring to...but I do not expect you to ever comprehend this.

The Weekly Standard..great right wing publication with Fred Barnes from Fox's "Beltway Boys" and other right wing tripe.

This is the same great SOURCE you are quoting that gives us riveting stories like:
"The Ronald Reagen I Knew!"
http://www.weeklystandard.com/Conten...3/379ldavi.asp

Yeah..a very UN-BIASED source that could NEVER be wrong and kisses Bush's butt on a daily basis.

You're pathetic TK..that you're quoting such a rag to prove your point!

i love this quote:

"Last Thursday, Undersecretary of Defense Douglas J. Feith defended the administration's prewar position at the Council on Foreign Relations. "The idea that we didn't have specific proof that he was planning to give a biological agent to a terrorist group," he said, "doesn't really lead you to anything, because you wouldn't expect to have that information even if it were true. And our intelligence is just not at the point where if Saddam had that intention that we would necessarily know it."

it's from this article:

CIA Finds No Evidence Hussein Sought to Arm Terrorists

By Walter Pincus
Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, November 16, 2003

The CIA's search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq has found no evidence that former president Saddam Hussein tried to transfer chemical or biological technology or weapons to terrorists, according to a military and intelligence expert.

From the Weekly Standard release...

President Bill Clinton went to the Pentagon on February 18, 1998, and prepared the nation for war. He warned of "an unholy axis of terrorists, drug traffickers, and organized international criminals" and said "there is no more clear example of this threat than Saddam Hussein."

"Although war was temporarily averted by a last-minute deal brokered by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, tensions soon rose again."

A great deal of the intelligence that was outlined in the "memo" provided to the Senate Intelligence Select Committee was gathered during the Clinton Administration and is old information compared to the Post Iraq "NEW INFORMATION" which is what the DOD release is referring to.

When you find an "UN-BIASED" news outlet...please inform me.

Hmm...what point is it that you think I am trying to prove?
