Mainstream design pricing
Designers, what do you generally charge for a logo design or corp ID package? If you were aproached by a group the does things like snowboard designs, what would you charge and what types of terms? (work for hire, % recurring on units sold, etc)
My wife and I had an offer to do some artwork for some folks, but have no idea what to charge. thx t

% of units if you can get it. Most of these are usually WFH. Charge regular design house prices for offline designs/concepts. Depends on their product line and likelihood of coming back.

Check out this site. It has tons of resources for designers including pricing guides. There is a yearly membership fee but its worth it.

Mainstream is a lot more competative than adult - and adult is pretty cuthtroat at times. Be careful not to overquote or they will go with someone else.
