I know GFY isn't exactly the place to express sentimentality and admiration, but I was very impressed with how well she seems to be doing. If you look in the court records n the criminal complaint it says she was "sexually" assaulted by the couple.

According to the info realeased shortly after she returned home, the crackpot tied her up to a tree at the shack (if you can call it that) they had in the hills a few miles away from the Smart's home and raped her. The guy's wife was apparently restraining her as well.
