Why do you say that? It's too boring? I know older men's taste -- and they do not like busy, flashy stuff... Older men do not shop at the Foot Locker for shoes -- look at what older men wear -- very plain designs, muted colors, nothing too flashy. You have to know the audience if you're doing marketing -- my design appeals to a mature audience that enjoys the glamour niche... My design is WAY more glamourous than any of the other designs, especially from a MAN's standpoint -- and that's who we are selling to...

Sharky Hamlet is very good, works pretty much on schedule and has good Flash skills. Hamlet u should talk to Sharky though Hamlet does pretty good on his own but sometimes a steady gig is better than running your own shop.

You can add some disclaimer shit about being 18+ at the bottom in html out of the way of the design...

If this is for the first page of the tour -- the "ENTER" should be the only thing they see... Most tours have "GUEST, MEMBERS, and JOIN" -- it's obvious the site is about Neriah Davis -- and just the fact that I don't talk about her being a Playmate or a supermodel tells the surfer that:

A) You should know who the fuck she is already.
B) She doesn't need a introduction because you can see for yourself from her pic and my design that she's a superstar... A picture is worth 1000 words. If you had a Yacht like that, who would be on it? Skanks?

A) Why would you join without seeing the whole tour -- if you are going to pay $ for a site about Neriah, don't you think you would be a big enough fan to at least look at the whole tour? DUH! Join link on the first page I think it dumb.

B) Why would members need a link on the front page? Maybe they forgot to bookmark the members area? That doesn't seem like an important problem to me -- the #1 priority of a site is to make initial sales -- if a guy is not going to rebill because he forgot to bookmark the login page/members area he's retarded...

So what's left for marketing here on the first page? Some stupid text about Neriah's beauty? "Behold the majesty of Neriah's curves, yadda yadda" -- no shit Sherlock... who buys that bullshit?


If you're going to have text, have Neriah write it -- a personal intoduction from Neriah herself -- not some graphic designer pretending to be an inspired literary poet genius... One of these designs even had a grammar error...

If you're going to add text about "10,000 pics" I can understand -- all that info can be on the second page of the tour or added to the HTML out of the way -- the first page is going to define the image of the site and load quickly...

IF my design is so bad -- where's the criticism? So far all I've got was that it looks "flat" -- well that's a fucking compliment considering I used all 6 elements of depth including atmospheric distance and still managed Hoffman flatness through my shape integration... Guess what, art is flat, and so is your screen... and making a 3D image look flat creates a dynamic interplay that is really pleasing to look at...

Do I have to move to Japan where good design is really appreciated? I'm surrounded by retards.

My design is the most completely thought out design on the list...

PROVE ME WRONG FUCKERS. I spend days looking at this thing -- you can spend a long time looking at mine... Did you see how I added the reflection of the laptop on the floor! That's no simple trick... I totally transformed the original photograph while keeping the original photographer's lighting and playing off the colors he used... the gold, black, white and kept the overcast blue... -- there's a complete VISION to my design... it has conceptual depth, compositional depth, it's bold and elegant, crisp and masculine... and it's MONEY.

MONEY MONEY MONEY damnit my design is worth way more than $200 shit this belongs in the Guggenheim.

I sent in a design for Neriah because I like her, not because I cared about the money, I don't sell my designs and haven't ever tried, I don't design for anyone but myself and I have no comments on everyone elses designs. I whipped something up in about an hour to give her something else to consider and another flavor. There are changes to be made to every design so far, that will be done once she gets the one she likes the most. Mine is a splash as was asked for and not a tour, splash being the very first thing you see then enter to the tour.

Clarity of vision... Look how I made the yacht into a white wing... Do you see the opposition of the pointing of her foot/leg and how it opposes the pointing on the same level as the yacht?

Do you see how I aligned the "N" with her leg perfectly? Do you see how the Yacht aligns with the "D" in Davis? Do you see how the text aligns with the horizon? Do you see how the Bently windows connect to the composition of the landscape's horizontal flow? Holy shit! That's art baby.

Notice how her toe tip touches the edge of the image on the left, how the laptop touches the edge of the image on the right... Look at how her hand responds to the shape of the letter "A" and how it flows down her arm!

Do you see how I sensually violated the horizon with the tips of the text? Don't you see my brilliant use of complimentary colors and how I added that into the hood of the Bentley? So much so that someone thought it was rendered especially for this purpose! Hahaha... And what about my use of scale and distance and space? Do you see how I weaved text elements into the composition, fucking with your sense of space and flatness?

As for the remark about stealing their ideas out of Photoshop books, (in my best Scotty voice) who's to say one of them didn't write the damned thing? (Sorry, bad Star Trek reference, there, LOL!)

How about a little critique of your work, then?

I think the color of the sky is a little dull. It looks overcast and hazy, not a cheerful thing to see on a day out on the yacht. It looks like it's about to rain, and that would spoil a lovely day on the water. The sky is also too close to the colors in the yacht itself so the yacht almost tends to blend in with the background. Subtlety can be good, but in this case, it's TOO subtle.

The pale blue stroke you used around the text was okay for the white text, but it makes the word Neriah look blurry, almost dirty. For a design that seems meant to capture the interest of wealthy, sophisticated gentlemen, I would expect crisp, clean text, not a gaussian nightmare. The goldenrod and the light blue also neither compliment each other nor contrast in a way that is appealing.

Overall the design is appropriate. I see where you were going. But it lacks interest and visual stimulation and it doesn't seem to be as well thought out as you claim it to be.
