**** CNN Confirms What Wonton Has Been Saying - Oil & Gas to Run Out! ***

The hidden factor behind the war in Iraq, the coming invasions of Saudia Arabia and Iran, the clamp-down on civil liberties within the US - now in the mainstream for the first time!:

World oil and gas 'running out'
By CNN's Graham Jones
Thursday, October 2, 2003 Posted: 1245 GMT ( 8:45 PM HKT)

-Global oil supplies will peak soon after 2010, Swedish scientists say.

LONDON, England -- Global warming will never bring a "doomsday scenario" a team of scientists says -- because oil and gas are running out much faster than thought.

The world's oil reserves are up to 80 percent less than predicted, a team from Sweden's University of Uppsala says. Production levels will peak in about 10 years' time, they say.

"Non-fossil fuels must come in much stronger than it had been hoped," Professor Kjell Alekett told CNN.

Oil production levels will hit their maximum soon after 2010 with gas supplies peaking not long afterwards, the Swedish geologists say.

At that point prices for petrol and other fuels will reach disastrous levels. Earlier studies have predicted oil supplies will not start falling until 2050.

One important fallacy of the above scientists' assumptions is that coal can make up the difference. It can't. Read the book below to fully understand:

The CIA has known about the 2010 peak since the mid 1970s.

It is now the end-game for the major resources of planet earth.

America is set to win. But the American people will not. Resources will be pilfered by those in power and class stratification will eventually be 10 times worse than it was in the great depression.

Funny you should say that. Look at the great tax incentive Bush is giving us to waste yet more Oil and Gas:

Washington Post

"'Allow me to introduce you to a fabulous opportunity,' Chris Thorpe, a sales representative for Hummer of Alaska, writes in a promotion letter. 'A tax "loophole" so big you could drive a Hummer H2 through it!

Imagine being able to purchase the #1 large luxury SUV in America today ... and receive a deduction for the entire purchase amount from your taxes this year!

Thanks to the Bush administration's recent economic stimulus package, small businesses and the self-employed are eligible to deduct the entire purchase cost of new equipment up to $100,000 the year of the purchase.

The Hummer H2 qualifies for this IRS Sec. 179 deduction by its gross vehicle weight of over 6,000 lbs.'"

The vast majority of geologists who work for the oil and gas industry - be they from the US, Europe or the Middle East, all concur that peak oil and gas production has either ALREADY occurred or will occur at latest by 2010.

I think these geologists, more than any politician or Wall Street lackey, know what the real deal is.

As does the CIA, the NSA, Pentagon and Joint Chiefs.

Alternative power resources can replace the oil. The problem is that oil companies do not like this scenario that's why we never saw serious steps towards this direction. It's like the tobacco companies. They have been selling your sure death since the early decades of past century and govts were hiding the health issues for many years.

BP, formally known as "British Petroleum" and of the largest oil companies in the world, changed their name in 2000 to "Beyond Petroleum".

Ya think they might just know a thing or two that the general public does not?

You think they are going to print an article with geologists that debunk this concept?

For every 1 geologist who agrees with this theory, I am sure there is 1 who opposes the idea.

And you are surely wrong. It is more like for every 100 Oil & Gas geologists that agree with the above article, 1 opposes it. The concensus is there that oil and gas are now dwindling to catastrophic levels.

The main point is that this resource issue is the hidden momentum behind major geopolitical events of the last five years, including the "terrorist" attack of 9-11.

I think there is pretty much oil out there, but in areas where its not as cost effective to mine it.

Plus all these automotive companies already have inventions for extremely efficient engines, but they dont release them because then it would mean less money.

It's the "When" that is important.

For years the major news media have only been reporting the rosy predictions of economists and politicians. They have skipped over the subject of "Peak Oil" for too long. Now, events around the world are making it obvious and they can no longer hide it under the rug. it has to be talked about.

But it's too late to change our industrial infrastructure to accomodate alternate energy sources. The transformation necesseary needs many decades to occur. If we started in the 1970s we would have had a chance. Now the only thing that can maintain our standard of living (for a few more years) is WAR.

WAR is now the only option.

Then what? What do we do?

Should we write a letter to someone say "please don't use so much gas" ?

Like up your ass?

If the quality of the oil found up your ass matches the quality of your ideas that emanate from that same region - no one will be mining your butt in the near future. So you are right, it's not effective to mine it.

Except that it is both uneconomical and a net energy waste to extract oil from tar sands.

Sure, it's quite possible we're going to hit the world peak production in oil soon. Others estimate 2020 but that doesn't change things much.

How will war change the fact that Iraq is an OPEC nation and will most assuredly remain an OPEC nation? OPEC controls the oil faucet by committee. Bringing Democracy to Iraq isn't going to change any of that.

well, first of all, i was under the impression that CNN was nothing but fake news and lies. so, i might say your source is completely false and there's no basis for it whatsoever (this seems to be the general consensus whenever someone cites CNN as a news source).

but hey, maybe that's why they want to drill in alaska?

as far as vehicles themselves go, there's a very simple solution for even our current internal combustion vehicles. alcohol, the renewable energy souce. it takes very little to convert most vehicles, and it's renewable. burns cleaner, and generally provides more horsepower (thus a more efficient vehicle).

but, if i remember right, petroleum products are used in the manufacturing of plastics. that's fairly important, so they're going to have to figure something out, eh?

I already did. There is a big picture in my first post of an excellent book you can buy and read from Amazon.

It is written by a well respected geologist who compiles the concensus research of geologists who work in the Oil and Gas industry. They are the ones with access to accurate records of reserve levels around the world. All the facts are in that book.

Actually I recall reading something about this, the predictions are that there will be no accessible oil in roughly 50 years from now.

It might not be that bad though, If you look at it, This will be opening up more modern energy resources. for example, People do know that they can make vehicles that run purely on water, But these people who discover these things keep disappearing.

Cold fusion is another example, in 1986 scientist discovered an affective way of producing more energy then they had to input, They disappeared and their documents did as well and cold fusion would supply limitless amounts of energy. Free electricity would be great but since these scientist vanished, noone has been able to replicate their results

Bringing 'democracy to Iraq' is a total smoke screen. After the airport was seized during the fall of Bagdhad, the very next building seized was the Oil ministry. Recently, the US occupational authority in Iraq announced that the entire country will be open to foreign investment (so that the IMF and World Bank can buy all the industries for pennnies on the dollar) - all except for the oil industry. The oil industry in Iraq belongs to America, oops; I mean to the interim "government" of Iraq and to the Iraqi people.

Saudi Arabia is next.

I had a teacher in high school (1994) that did some "work" for the State Department. It seemed to me that he was more like a spook.

He predicted a lot of things back then that have come true today. He was in the oil business with what he called ?Bush?s sons? (which was then Bush senior). He predicted that Colin Powell would come to be a major figurehead, and maybe even President. That concept seemed pretty crazy then being that he was just a general at the time.

He also said that the U.S. is sitting on reserves in Alaska that are as large as Saudi Arabia?s in their golden era, but that we continue to buy oil elsewhere. We supposedly do this in order to one day have the largest pocket of wealth in the world some day. Bush?s (W.) push recently to start drilling more in Alaska kind of reopened my eyes to the things he had said.

The guy was pretty crazy but also very smart. You got the sense he knew what he was talking about via inside sources. Go figure.

There its tons of untaped crude reserves in north america and in sount america. The problem is alot of them are in moutians and other difficult regions to mine. Once places like the middle east and other major regions start running out then they will be forced to tap into these areas. Up untill then its just to expecive. Regardless one day they will run out and you will have to settel for solar hydro electric and nuke energys
unless the come up with that cold fusion crap like in all those movies Either way it wont be in our lifetimes

You shared secret info that your teacher gave you?

If you read many of my past threads, I have almost always quoted CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times. Rarely if ever have I quoted fringe publications.

The point I have always maintained, however, is not WHAT the mainstream prints but what they do NOT PRINT that counts as well as when they self-contradict their own information.
