Halle Berry As Catwoman
The Academy Award had to have been a mistake.
Hollywood = Garbage Do you realize that there is more creativity in the porn industry than in Tinseltown? http://www.superherohype.com/catwoman/index.php?id=207

THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO FUCKING SUCK!
Warner Brothers already had a great Catwoman with Michelle Pfeifer in Batman Returns. Now they are totally fucking it up. "Catwoman" is a feature film based on characters created by DC Comics. In this new adventure Patience Price, a mild mannered graphic artist, is murdered in order to keep her silent about an accidental discovery she made. An ancient myth is played out when an Egyptian Mao cat, indebted to Patience for her saving its own life, breathes life back into the young woman. Patience is reborn with an independent attitude, carefree behavior and the heightened senses of a cat. Now she must investigate the circumstances behind her murder and learn to accept both parts of herself. Here is a pic of Halle as Catwoman ![]() Why change what already worked? Are they THAT desperate to make some money?

I saw that picture earlier and about puked. It looks worse than the costume for Roger Corman's Black Scorpion show...
I don't mind Halle Berry as Catwoman but call it something else if it won't have anything to do with the comics... |

I predict someone at Warner Brothers will be losing their job when this thing bombs.
People are going to go into the movie expecting Michelle Pfeifer's Catwoman and when they see this flick they are going to be wondering WTF is up.

of course halle berry was selected for the role... because she is the current popular 'fad' in the industry. Come on, just because we dont like it, the mindless masses probably will.
Hey...she's wearing open toed sandals too... haha with the current fad in fashion as well I see. |

You guys are right on.
I've got 5,000 comic books in my basement and the Dark Knight is right up there. Michelle Pfeiffer is the Catwoman that Gil Kane envisioned when he created her. I heard that Christian Bale is going to be Batman and was excited because he has a definite edge to his persona. ( Empire of the Sun, American Psycho...). If Halle gets this role as Catwoman, the movie loses any credibility and spoils Bale's chance at really defining the Dark Night. The outfit is way over the top. Catwoman was sexy because she oozed sex, she didn't show it, and from a practical point of view no one could grab on to it. Kilmer, Clooney didn't work but tried real hard and did well. Keaton was the best so far but needed to be darker. While we're on the subject: 1. Daredevil was great but Elektra has deep rooted mental problems and is a highly sexed stone killer, actually dual personalities. She should have been edgier like Pfeiffer was. 2. Affleck did the job. You can like him or hate him but he portrayed DD as he really is. DD is an edgy guy with a lot of baggage and Affleck should have been able to show it a bit deeper. 3. The Kingpin was good but has never been a black man. 4. DD and Spiderman crosss paths quite frequently with mostly quite different perspectives . Watch for a crossover. Why was Toby MaGuire so good as Spiderman? Do yourselves a favour and watch him in "Cider House Rules" with Michael Cain and Charlize Theron. Haven't seen The Hulk. To be hoest i'm almost afraid to. I really don't want to be disappointed but I think it's a definite possibility. The best part of comics is using your imagination to fill in the in-betweens. As Stan and the boys have always said: "Buy what you read and read what you buy." Tell ya the truth, the comics are far superior to the movies because when you are turning the pages on a good storyline... ... it's you who really is the hero. "Nuff Said" ![]() |

You comic book pyscho's never liked any of the Movies.
Movies are just like the real books. its not gonna be the same story. So why expect the comic book movie to be the same. They tried it with "The Hulk" and the movie sucked ass for the non-comic person |

OK Playa, since you're in this thread; Tell us what you think would be a good time... and tell us how it might relate to your comic book experiences.
Also please tell us which hand you were using while looking at the pictures and what lubricant you were using at the time of your arrest. ![]() |

All i am saying is how could an actor be the wrong character of a comic book? Halle Berry is one of the sexiest actors today and i think she can pull off anything. Hell she already got experience with superheros. i think she was pretty good in XMEN Hot or not jerking off to some girl with a halloween custome is not something i'd stroke too. If i want to jack off to Halle i'd watch monster ball again |

Hey Drav, nice to hear from old friends. Hope you are doing well. I'm sure you are.
![]() I didn't know you were a fan of the genre but it makes sense being the literati that you are. Playa:: Here's what you have to do: 1. Buy a comic book. 2. Preferably not a new one. 3. Turn the pages and enjoy. You'll thank me in the morning and remember me as a good time. ![]() |

Ian, long time! Good to see you're doing well. I'm keeping busy, as always.
![]() I have to say those amazing Warner cartoons of the last five or six years, rekindled an old interest. They captured the real spirit of the comics exceedingly well. Especially the first two seasons. On a bit of tangent, did you see the "DareDevil" movie? First-rate!
