I've got 5,000 comic books in my basement and the Dark Knight is right up there.
Michelle Pfeiffer is the Catwoman that Gil Kane envisioned when he created her.
I heard that Christian Bale is going to be Batman and was excited because he has a definite edge to his persona. ( Empire of the Sun, American Psycho...).
If Halle gets this role as Catwoman, the movie loses any credibility and spoils Bale's chance at really defining the Dark Night. The outfit is way over the top.
Catwoman was sexy because she oozed sex, she didn't show it, and from a practical point of view no one could grab on to it.
Kilmer, Clooney didn't work but tried real hard and did well.
Keaton was the best so far but needed to be darker.
While we're on the subject:
1. Daredevil was great but Elektra has deep rooted mental problems and is a highly sexed stone killer, actually dual personalities. She should have been edgier like Pfeiffer was.
2. Affleck did the job. You can like him or hate him but he portrayed DD as he really is. DD is an edgy guy with a lot of baggage and Affleck should have been able to show it a bit deeper.
3. The Kingpin was good but has never been a black man.
4. DD and Spiderman crosss paths quite frequently with mostly quite different perspectives . Watch for a crossover.
Why was Toby MaGuire so good as Spiderman?
Do yourselves a favour and watch him in "Cider House Rules" with Michael Cain and Charlize Theron.
Haven't seen The Hulk. To be hoest i'm almost afraid to. I really don't want to be disappointed but I think it's a definite possibility.
The best part of comics is using your imagination to fill in the in-betweens.
As Stan and the boys have always said:
"Buy what you read and read what you buy."
Tell ya the truth, the comics are far superior to the movies because when you are turning the pages on a good storyline...
... it's you who really is the hero.

I forgot.. is DD part of the avengers?
Spiderman always tried his best to be part of the avengers.
