UCumSeeMe.com traffic scamming?

Anyone else had this problem?
I got 2 hits today from the same IP one minute apart and they were both counted as seperate hits... Don't look good.

Besides this, after purchasing a campaign 2 weeks ago, not even 1/100th of the traffic has been delivered so far... Anyone else ever had similar problems with them? If so, can you recommend any decent traffic brokers?

Ask what their traffic source is. Even if they are using consoles - where MSIE will send a blank referer - you should still get a few 'leaks' here and there from other browsers that will show the URL that generated the console. If you see no such leaks, then you need to ask further questions.

If we are unable to deliver the number of visitors promised within 30 days or if you are unhappy with the quality of traffic during your campaign, you may claim a refund.

So theoritecally they should give me a refund just cause i'm not happy... we'll see hehe

Well here is a surprise... when I was buing traffic I emailed UCUmSeeMe 3 times, each time they got back to me within minutes, yesturday I pointed out I'm considering asking for a refund and haven't had a reply since...

Well, just got back the first email from them...
I said that they provided multiple hits from the same IP, their delivery took 2 weeks already and not even 1% of my purchased traffic has been delivered, and that none of the hits that did make it through converted...

In their reply they conveniently dismissed the first and second point and concentrated on blaming the conversions on me... Well guys, if I can convert 1000 Warez Traffic hits to 2-3 sales then I'm sure UCumSeeMe.com shouldn't have a problem generating at least one sale...

This email addresses the allegation that we didn't contact the customer. We contacted the customer one day after he placed his order with us. In addition, it explains the low volume of traffic. Our campaigns are 30 day campaigns and the customer ordered traffic 8 days ago on the 19th. The customer did not give us the opportunity to send the traffic to him but that's his right under our 30 day money back guarantee although we still have over 22 days to deliver his traffic.

The email was sent from us to you on Sat 9/20/2003 7:04 AM. We can re-forward you the email or deliver to an alternate email as proof that we sent it. There could be an email problem somewhere but I presented this to you to show you that we made an attempt to contact you via email.

Our traffic support department told you that we'll look into the duplicate IP issue. We have to investigate this before we can offer answers to this issue. Our chief software engineer will look into this personally and he'll have an answer on Monday. I don't know if we sent you the same visitor 2x or if our database query is returning the incorrect IP so it appears as though it was sent 2x. In addition, I don't know if this happened 1x or if it's occured more than 1x. We won't know anything until Monday. Nevertheless, it will be resolved on Monday. I haven't heard this bug report surface from any of our other customers and since it occured just once, it can wait until Monday.

With respect to violating our terms, when we are attacked in the public for no logical reason, we present the adequate electronic information to the public to attest to the facts of the situation.

Since you brought this matter public, you made it public. You could have tried to contact us again and/or phone us. You made accusations in the public arena so we had to show documents in the public arena to address your claims.

You were told that you will receive a 100% refund on Monday since our office is closed on the weekend. I'm still not sure why you are continuing with this thread.
