Change User-Agent in any browser?
Ok, I want to change User-Agent to the same as the google-bot so I can check out what the pages look like when google visits them.
But I tried every known browser out there and I have not been able to change it to "Googlebot/1.0 ([email protected] http://googlebot.com/)" or what it is... So how should I do, what browser should I use for this?

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but I figured it might come in handy for informational stuff in the future.
http://www.wannabrowser.com/index.html It'll hit any page you want and report itself as different browsers to let you test .htaccess stuff and whatnot. I don't think it contains one for google though. I haven't played much with "wget", but that will allow you to change the browser agent it reports when it connects to something, you might be able to get that to report itself as google. |

mozilla firebird (www.mozilla.org) install the extension that lets you specify what browser you want to be.
failing that wget --user-agent=..... will definately work, though not terribly practical for general surfing ;)
