CCBill & Epoch Scrubbing Question?
Is there any point using either of these processors to backup the other?
I have no experience of Epoch but I know that CCBill scrub pretty hard and I would like to have a less strict backup processor if possible. |

Thanks for the reply.
You would think that if they both work off the same scrubbing criteria then a surfer would get declined or accepted on either but not get a different result between the two. |

Proprietary scrubbing systems are inherently going to be different. What is flagged and the score that it is assigned, assessment criteria, weights, etc?not to mention differences in the ?negative? database.
They were created differently So you know, years ago, we were not satisfied with the outsourced scrubbing that we were using and decided to create our own, Vscrub, which I am familiar with the architecture of, and imo, works very well

Thanks Corvett.
I love CCBill and have been with you guys for years with no plans to move but you do seem to scrub harder than some other processors. |

in my experience in hte past month here watching ccbill as a secondary processor to epoch. ccbill kicks ass as a secondary processor. doing way better than i expected converting epochs declines with no chargebacks in a month and only a couple credits.
