That won't happen with changing presidents because if it did we'd not wake every day with the pungent aroma of our own asses being kicked.

A President has very limited power in dealing with domestic issues...he has the bully pulpit but domestic issues are really in the hands of Congress. A President has more power (but still limited power) in foreign policy decisions. Did you read the Generals qualifications...and positions?

You are! Presidents have appointed (ok named, nominated, determined, or whatever semantics you want to use) every supreme court judge in history along with federal judges as well. I repeat the President nominates...the Congress has the final say as to a person being appointed to the Supreme Court (so in essence it is Congress that appoints the Supreme Court Justices). The President as well as his cabinet...have influence "the bully pulpit" and where have I ever stated any differently? I am aware that the President has the limited ability to issue executive orders...which can be over ridden by the Congress and or the Supreme Court. I will repeat...the Presidents greatest power lies in Foreign Policy and even that is limited power. Please call again when you want to be educated again.

It seems there is more awakening to the potential that the asshole is not only an idiot, but an ignorant, devious, slimy lying little scumbag that has no qualification to hold *any* office.

For old time's sake.. I'll prompt again - Bush never was a valid candidate for any election. He lied and cheated before he ever was the Governor of Texas and left that State in the same economic condition he now has the US in. He even failed in his own business career. If he did not have a "cause" in the "war on terrorism" he would be truely fucked long before now. His decline had already started before 9/11.

This time round, for the sake of the US at home and abroad, try and elect at least someone with some qualifications and experience and dump the party political bullshit - ya can't afford that luxury - that time has passed.

Anyone or anything is better than the Texas trash. At least Clark has something to offer, but sadly, because of the "democratic system", it is not always the best man who wins.

Better luck this time around - cause it is badly needed!
