Some cool new Acacia Prior Art Finds
Hey everyone,
thought I would share what I found searching google groups: There was an article in a mag from 1985 about video on demand systems, saying that the PC will never catch on big in homes until it could do that kinda stuff... Of course its a little "sci-fi" talk, but it does mention "professionals" saying this kind of stuff will come.. Talk to Brandon (FightThePatent) already, he also thinks it could be usefull... we'll see... here's a link: http://groups.google.com/groups?q=di...gr.ARPA&rnum=4 And another small thing I found is some conference held in Hawaii about digital media content transmission and similar things... maybe someone talked about VOD there, might be good to find that out: http://groups.google.com/groups?q=di....UU CP&rnum=7

yes, great finds by Nathan.. i had passed them on to the defense side previously.... whether these would be considered prior art or not (haven't gotten feedback yet), they do help to support other prior art evidence to show that experts in the field at the time were all thinking along the same lines, so that the Acacia patent inventor didn't invent something that was new or novel... Look for prior art by looking for stuff on this page: http://www.FightThePatent.com/v2/Searching.html Look at prior art that has been founded (still in the process of adding more) at: http://www.FightThePatent.com/v2/Squirt.html Fight the Patent!
