Hey everyone,

thought I would share what I found searching google groups:

There was an article in a mag from 1985 about video on demand systems, saying that the PC will never catch on big in homes until it could do that kinda stuff... Of course its a little "sci-fi" talk, but it does mention "professionals" saying this kind of stuff will come..

Talk to Brandon (FightThePatent) already, he also thinks it could be usefull... we'll see... here's a link:

And another small thing I found is some conference held in Hawaii about digital media content transmission and similar things... maybe someone talked about VOD there, might be good to find that out:
