Acacia and the first ammendment

I keep hearing that Acacia is going after webmasters who simply link to sites which contain audio and video content. Does this only apply to affiliates (with affiliate code in their url link)? Or does it apply to any webmaster who has any type of link to a site offering audio and video?

Couldn't it be argued that Accacia's demands are trampling on our first ammendment right to free speech? If we like a site we shouln't have to pay a third party for the right to link to it. Of course, I don't know whether a hyperlink would be considered 'speech'. But a hyperlink is essentially written text and that is considered 'speech'. I can't believe the first ammendment would allow someone to charge us just to use a specific text link. Any thoughts?

Who knows ... that is the point.
ACACIA .. imo ... is using a legal marketing strategy. In otherwords, go after those who might have some money to lose, but ignore the real challenge of AOL.com and CNN.com.

Strong arm tactics agains homegrownvideo.com ...

Basically, the way I have been researching each side is ... ACACCIA has hired some "lawyer marketers" ... IMO.

It's all about money as usual it seems.

I hope the hell someone is going to step up and start defending "Homegrown.com" with donations to "IMPAI.org" ...

wake up ...
grow up!

I am still hoping against hope that one day at some point in the future you will actually make a post worth reading.

BTW, you misspelled 'coffee.'

First Amendment is an interesting angle. It makes sense.
