So.. if it wasn't muslim extremists, who did the CIA or whoever it was, convince to fly planes into WTC and blow themselves to pieces?

Interestingly, that BBC article was written way back in 2001. Not only was it never retracted but just a few months ago, the BBC aired a television documentary, intereviewing a few of the six living "hijackers". This *should* be earth-shattering news in the US. Instead, the US press has all but totally ignored this HUGE story. To be fair, ABC News briefly mentioned it on one of their web pages in a very small article and then promptly removed it.

At this point one could only speculate and I generally don't like to do that. I prefer to deal with what is known, not what is unkown. Those who venture far into speculative territory are the true "conspiracy nuts" who add little credibility to the issue.

But you might want to consider the following facts, which you can easily find from a Google search:

* About six months prior to 911, Raytheon, a major defense contractror, perfected their remote control aviation systems and successfully made test flights, take offs and landings using the same boeing models involved on 911.

* Months after 911, the CIA admitted that it was running a "simulation" on 911 itself of a plane hitting a building. But it was only a "simulation" apparently. They were forced to admit this after dozens of lower-level CIA personnel demanded to know the connection between the events of 911 and the so-called simulation that some of them witnessed inside CIA HQ on that very day.

Am I saying that the CIA remote-controlled the planes into the WTC? No. As I said, I don't like to speculate. The above are only facts. They are food for thought, nothing more.

But in the absence of a conclusion as to "who" flew the planes, we can and should only look at what we do know. And what we do know is that the government story of what happened on that day is a monumental LIE. That is the only thing we really know.

2 black helicopters hovering silently over my house pointing some freaky devices at me trying to figure out what I'm typing. I will contact you later at the same place we talked about. *wink wink*

Ya see...Now you are making the mistake of speculating. But while we are at it, there would not need to be any read doll. The planes flight path could easily be taken over by a ground station if that ground station had the correct codes for interfacing with the planes navigation system. One minute the pilots would be on course, the next minute they would be fighting with their controls, wondering what the hell is going on, as their aircraft's controls were taken over.

But whether you talk of real dolls or ground control stations, it is still speculation. I have already posted a number of informative articles in this thread which deal with facts and zero speculation. The facts already presented are enough to warrant further investigation into this matter by all thinking, rational human beings.

Doesn't it disturb, even slightly, any of you that are U.S. citizens that you have never heard the hijackers weren't who the feds reported they were? That just weirds me out. I look at news everyday - have for years on the internet and I've never heard that before.

Of course not. They are not interested in actually thinking.

I have a feeling that Bush himself could walk into their bedrooms, sodomize them and the simply say, "It was Osama" and these numnuts would just nod their heads in agreement, like trained sheep, eventhough they witnessed the crime themselves (as the victim, no less).

Why is that childish You obviously watch too many x-files episodes. Maybe you should just let it go before the CIA storm your home ;)

Be wary of our news media. They took the wrap for the Vietnam war. Somehow they lost it for us is the claim. The media is not going to be blamed for loosing in Iraq. They aint gonna tell you everything. Don't fully trust our news reports.

The very fact linkages can be proven here is...in itself...disturbing especially when juxtaposed with an unsuccessful massive military effort to nab UBL for going on two years now (and many years previously). The "conspiracy theories" aside, the fact that even spotty and sometimes airtight factual linkages exist is not good. The facts stretch back nearly sixty years. Look it up. Lots of bad things in the past seem to be at least partially connected.

It is an uphill battle to awaken more than 0.25% of the population. The historical model has proven that as long as the populace is materially "comfy" and scared of some "external menace" that national leaders can do just about anything they please, including taking over vast swaths of the globe or even marching people into concentration camps.

Heck, I am as guilty as the next guy. I am enjoying all this unlimited materialism. I am just observant enough to know that

(a) It has its price and
(b) When it does come crashing down I will not be surprised. Everyone else, at least 99.75% of them, will be traumatized.

"Naturally, the common people don't want war ... but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country. "
- Herman Goering

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
- Theodore Rooosevelt

It's been common knowledge in the rest of the world since not long after 9/11
The US media is heavily censored.
