Did anyone mention Tom Morello? I completely forgot about him, and he's should be up there on any list.

My father has an entire Budweiser ensamble. They actually sold that shit in the stores. He probably wouldn't have to go to far to dig it out. That's would definitely get some looks no matter where you went.

Sykkboy- good call on Roy Clark and Steve Stevens, and no doubt Brain Setzer is criminally underrated.

My vote for best living guitarist would be Buddy Guy.

I saw him many times including Stevie Ray's last show with Clapton, Jimmy Vaughn, Robert Cray... Buddy smoked them all during the encore.

Hands down Stevie was the best live solo artist performance I've ever seen. Blew me away. Stevie would win best living but since he is not with us, Buddy wins.

Jimmy Page was also pretty fucking incredible live.

By "Nancy Heart" do you perhaps mean Nancy Wilson of the band Heart?

I mentioned her earlier, good pick if that's who you meant.

Acoustically speaking, I'll tell you who was a good picker...

Jim Stafford.

Remember that old song "spider's & snakes"? ... He's the guy that sang that. Saw him play that song "Classical Gas" one time.... damn that guy was good.

The new Megadeth lead guitar is good too, forgot his name...
