There are dozens if not hundreds of fansite clones offering small affiliate commissions. A fan site existing and paying an affiliate commission is not really a draw.

OF works because it's a trusted household name, most guys have an account, and all the best models are there. Some of them you can even already promote via Onlytraffic, Fairyrevenue, Crak, etc.

While it may cover the lifetime of most of the users, lifetime is always preferred.

Then there's more factors in play:

- OnlyFans has an unparalleled brand and coverage / but there are often tracking issues cited

- So I'd assume this would be the angle where one could actually get some affiliates to test it, while it would have to convert, it should also have affiliate ready promo solutions + solid tracking

An interesting take would be to compare the same model and similar type of promotion performance on OF versus a platform X

At the moment there are a lot of OnlyFans type sites, however that does not mean another could not do well.

But as for your questions.

Would this be a direct link to the site or do you need to promote each model separately. Personally I would prefer to have both options. Being lazy I would prefer to send people to a single site that shows all the models. This way people can see all the models and may also sign up for several.

the 6% is not a problem if it converts well. Getting a few sales each day at 6% is better than one a month at 50%.

The 12 month term seems a silly option. I say this as I suspect a lot of people join a models onlyfan site for a month, then leave and join another. Some who are fans will stay or just forget to cancel. So saying 12 months seems silly as it may just put affiliates off for no reason.

Onlyfans had the advantage of making themselves mainstream, and not looking 'dirty'.

In the UK they had story after story in newspapers from models who were talking about how they made thousands from the site.

It became the new site to make money from.

It also seemed to hit the right time during lockdown when people were at home.

Then came the wave of actors and celebs who turned to onlyfans to make an income.

Suddenly doing porn was no longer degrading but a new feminist power (it is interesting how peoples morals change when they need cash).

Onlyfans basically got a LOT of free and often positive publicity in the press.

That is why it is a lot harder to compete.

However I suspect nich (not sure if I spelt that correctly) onlyfans type sites could I suspect do well. I could see such as a goth/alt site doing well that only has goths/alt models.

I would also consider a sfw type site as well. Such as only bikini pics or underwear, this should avoid problems with such as age verification where fans have to age verify themselves. A non nude site.

A lot of babe sites that would generally have convertible traffic are also on autopilot these days to get enough promotion. I can't get anyone to answer an email anymore, unfortunately.

You say that, but remember your sending traffic to cam sites that others have sent them to. So you end up having to send a lot of traffic for a few sign ups.

At least a new onlyfans type site that few have joined, would in theory have fresh traffic sent to them.

The irony is that you send your traffic to cam sites where the models are using the cam sites to promote there onlyfans sites.

So a % of the traffic you send will be joining the onlyfans site and you make nothing from all your effort. It is the models who benefit.
