I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences with this:
In your opinion, what actually converts users into paying customers more effectively by having high-quality models/content on the site, or optimizing for faster and smoother sign-ups? On one hand, great models/content seem like the main reason people would spend in the first place. But on the other hand, if the sign-up process has too much friction, you might be losing people before they even get to that point. Have you seen better results focusing on one over the other? Or is it really about balancing both? Would love to hear some real world insights or any data you’ve seen. ![]() |

unpopular opinion but: high quality content does actually sell memberships.
If it did, we'd all be rolling in dough, driving Maserati's and living in 20 BR mansions. Ultimately it comes down to marketing and connecting with the consumer, this is why everyones sales results are different, even when promoting the same niche content. If the tours isnt sales heavy, designed to sell and garner the attention of the surfer, the best content, signup processes and membership prices in the world isnt going to matter one iota.

What customer goes to a site and goes straight to join page before even looking at the content? Thinks to himself, 'Hmm this looks like an easy, friction free signup process - Now I'll go and take a look at what it is they are actually selling... Surely, its the content that got them to the payment page? So how can you be losing a customer I know some affiliates send straight to join page, but even in that scenario, its the content that got them to the page? I dont understand... |
