Hows that work then? The first thing a surfer sees is the content. Content is subjective, & if the surfer leaves at that point, fair enough - That's life. However, if its content that he finds to be good enough to warrant spending, its only at that point, that the / sign-up /joining / billing process comes into play... Sure, if it looks overly complicated, or sketchy, or overpriced etc, you may lose the potential customer - That I get... But...
What customer goes to a site and goes straight to join page before even looking at the content? Thinks to himself, 'Hmm this looks like an easy, friction free signup process - Now I'll go and take a look at what it is they are actually selling... Surely, its the content that got them to the payment page? So how can you be losing a customer
