taking action is never an easy course.
For eight years Clinton didnt do much on foreign affairs, slashed cia fbi military budget, didnt take revenge for various terroist attacks, cut a sweetheart deal with north korea. Are we better off because of that. I say no. If Gore were president for 4 or 8 years and continued the same policy, would we be better off. I think it would compound the problems face by double. The weasels like France, German, Russia are pissy because we wont lay down for them. They love guys like Clinton and Jimmy Carter because they know they will never do anything. |
Come now if all you can seize on is the "fries" thing?
That was just a way for some people to try to express displeasure... I think our SELECTED, Tin-Can-Cowboy President has much more interesting and long reaching plans to deal with the French... I find it amusing that the only forum in which France's opinion had any bearing has become marginalized by Chirac.... So now when you grand stand in the Security Council, it no longer means anything.... because UNLIKE France, the US CAN operate unilateraly. Hey you guys have history to fall back upon, you were a superpower at one time.... some countries never even have that. Oh and when compairing politicians, I would not be to proud of Chirac.... he is one of the most corrupt politicans in modern French history... and that is quite and achievement. |
Well.. oddly, I ain't French... you don't seem to see I was having fun in a warped way??
But.. I got nuthing against the French.. in fact they have a lot to offer. But, they can be a big pain in the ass sometimes when "dealing", - but they have valid points and some actual principles. Tis a pity when some lack any diplomacy to deal with them and run off and not even speak to em for months, behaving like spoilt brats, - just like the "thing" in the Whitehouse. |
Labret, nice car.... Escalade is a great ride... I cannot wait to get mine back from the shop!!
|
Oh Webby, you GOT me....
You are one wiley coyote.... Have trouble with the truth? You gonna keep playing me?? Such a cunning person you are.... will you teach me how to be as smooth as you?? HAHAHAHA Bottom line is, you are a liar and ashamed of your heritage... you want to try to have a debate, and make it one way without letting us put a spot light on your country of orgin... It is ok webby, I am sure at night you feel like a big guy.... |

Lets use the neutron bomb, that would leave the buildings intact, for whoever wants to live there after
|
That only shows ya how much of a con he is... and says volumes about the US media.. or is that the "Whitehouse spokesperson"?
Most decent journalists don't even send articles to the US media, - they stopped paying the postage a good few years back. If it still ain't recognized for what it is in the US, - there ain't much I can say to persuade Mr Middle America... Just hope reality hits sometime! Tis a farce! :glugglug Only thing I can equate it to is some kinda "bubble" folks live in... but, there are many who know better as well, so some hope! |

If you are from another country and think differently, maybe you are as much biased if you live in USA and are a fucking religio.. errr patriotic bitch. The fact is that most americans have no idea of what they are talking about when it comes to international versus european or canadians. |
Ya got *anything* relevant to say??? Or is it kinda limited? :Graucho

Indigo, I think it is aparent where I am from.
I take pride in being an American Citizen... and while my Nation is not perfect, it is still the best Nation in the world. And yes I am BIASED, there is no doubt about it, but unliked the other biased non-Americans slamming my Nation, I can admit it. Every nation has a roll to play, and gets the gov't and leadership they deserve... So where are you from Indigo? What are YOUR Biases? Can you admit them? Any chance you live in Webbyland?? Maybe you can help the King and I get out of the bubble.... |
King, I wonder if there is a Webby-Disney in Webbyland??

Mike... get a grip!
I like where I stay as well... and, to a lesser extent, through personal perference, the country where I was born. That don't mean I an "unpatriotic" or any of that bullshit. But.. one thing I sure ain't going to do is run around waving flags and swearing some oath to any country. As for the US, I do not dislike the US in any way - nor the people there. I have many good friends in US and lived there for some time. Also.. I am not, as you seem to think, any "US hater", - that is yet another common niche from someone who ain't got a clue. It does not matter one fuck where anyone is from. But the moment countries like the US "intrude" on the world of others, they lost the right not to be "discussed". As for my "hate"... it ain't hate, but comprises of utterly despising the "rogue regime" which currently exists in the US. At this same time, I sure understand why a "war on terror" arose. But that is not a blank check for a total imbecile to drain the US coffers and go on another fruitless adventure to "preserve our freedoms" on the basis of a pack of lies. This is little more than a cover to hold a nation together as a "war president" and avoid disclosing basic truths and dealing with them. It is a regime which cannot even communicate with the elected houses of government. It is the worst government in the Western world at this time and this goverment is definately the biggest threat to world peace - it supercedes any "terrorist organization" by miles. So.. I ain't gonna cheer on any country and rant about "patriotism" of US or my own, but I will appreciate any country that behaves for the common good of all. Maybe the difference is.. I ain't biased! :Graucho |

Still more imbecile crap?... I notice you never actually pick up *any* points you care to discuss... that says a lot about the bubble! :Graucho

Tis also a sad reflection on how skin deep things are... I know all of your countrymen ain't that thick tho! Thank God...

Your question was just pointless. IMHO, religion and patriotism is the same fucking bullshit as Nazis. We should get rid of religions and flags to become "people of the world" But humans are too damn stupids. |

:edit had to fix my quotes. |
Mike - It is clear what you think and want to know about people is totally irrelevant.. you have demonstated there ain't much in that pea brain to warrant any discussion - sorry!

Webby, I just asked a simple question. Hoped for an honest, simple anwer...
I will not trouble you an farther with my pea brain.... I know you have imprtant work to do in the Eutopia of Webbyland! |

The point of 9/11 is...attacks on the continental USA will not be tolerated...and the terrorists are from Muslim countries. There were multiple reasons for the invasion of Iraq and one of those reasons was to send a message to the Muslim countries...get your act together or face the consequences. The USA will dismantle every Muslim country, one by one, if they are perceived to be hostile towards the USA...including Saudi Arabia. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so what happens when an asian decides to blow up a part of the usa? will we go after all asian countries too, or will we just have "diplomatic talks" with the country where he/she is from? your response If you would have paid attention to my previous posts you would have learned that I am speaking about those Muslim countries or any other country that is overtly hostile to the USA and/or provides safe harbor/financial aid to those that are. |
