Enter The Matrix Review
Well, I finally got the game today, for my PC. The xbox version convinced me that I'd buy this game over Vice City - simply the theme, the story line, the effects justified the purchase.
I could have downloaded it, but I didn't want to wait for a week or two to get it. My opinion: It kicks ass. It is exactly what Max Payne wanted to be, the action sequences and the 'Focus' feature are extremely neat... However I noticed a few major graphical errors on my Radeon powered system. I am not sure if it is the driver that is not getting along with the game, or if the game is just poorly coded. Overall I'd give it a thumbs up, I've played for about 3 hours now, and have gotten a pretty good idea of what's going on. Too bad I will also need to upgrade my gfx card ![]() |

I also need to add that this game is pretty much fully integrated into the second movie's story line - you definitely will recognize parts from the movie in the game. The vid sequences are all DivX, and many actors from the movie also appear in the game.
No wonder where the $20Mil of development for this game went... ![]() |

Anybody played the XBox version on a HDTV with the high definition AV pack? I read a review somewhere that said it supported 1080i on HDTV's.
I'd like to see what that looks like. There's only been a few games so far that supported anything higher than 480p, and they've all sucked. |
