As a whole I thought it sucked, there were a lot of cool fight scenes, but it went on and on and on to the point where it was boring.

and there was no point to the fighting!

Why use Kung FU when you can fly? Or just slip under the enemy's skin like he did in the first movie? Did Neo forget how to do that?

He can stop bullets with his mind, but to hurt someone he has to use his fists?

Why do the regular people suddenly have the power to kick the Agents asses? They could never do this before.

A matrix within a matrix. Wow... anyone who thinks this is deep is a moron. Star Trek has done half a dozen episodes dealing with this concept on their hollodeck and they all sucked too.

But OK.... the whole world isn't "real", but the motive for creating the false reality has always been retarded. The idea that we're all batteries is STUPID, which makes the entire basis of the plot stupid as well.

Of course, we haven't seen the "real" world yet, for the final explanation we have to wait for the third movie.

I was happy the new twist explains away the fate bullshit. That fits in quite nicely, but I felt ripped off by the cheesy soap oprea ending. As a whole this movie has less than 1/4 of a plot.

it was built by humans to survive the "scorching of the skies" during the war between 01 (the name of the machine nation) and the rest of the world.

Umm...a little off topic, here, but was anyone else confused from the first one when the Oracle told Neo that he "was'nt the one"?

And then, for the rest of the movie, and this second one now, he is considered "the one"?

Or am I wrong?

there might be a real zion, but the one they live in might be a simulation of it.. the architect says it has been destroyed and repopulated 6 times, that sounds unrealistic. i think its the simulation of zion that has been recreated the 6th time.

she says "maybe in another life", but people usually miss that part. she has also told trinity that she would fall in love with a dead man, who would be the one.

at the end he dies and trinity fall in love with him, and he wakes up. and he becomes the one.

in the end of the third film they will reveal that zion is just another matrix within the matrix. they will leave it open-ended and you will have to buy the game to see the real ending of the saga.

from Smith (Anti-Virus). Trinity - complement software to aid in Neo's
completion of purpose. Morpheus and crew - collector programs for mainframe
to try to enable the end of the loop cycle. Architect - Mainframe operating
system. Oracle - old Macro Software that has been part of all 5 iterations
of the loop and can see all variances. Oracle's Protector - Mainframe hard
code software. Merovingian - old Neo that did not fully implement objective
in beta 5.0. Merovingian's wife - old trinity code. Twins, and
Merovingian's guards - old base black ice protector code. Head Counselor in
Zion - Advisor for Mainframe that advises Neo along his upgrade to not
touch the main bios (engineering) systems. Key Maker - come on now, to

moving to either system infused with anomaly code from Neo. I truly loved
this movie and it is so amazingly deep compared to the first if you know
what it really happening. I hope this helps anyone who walked out of the
theater like 95% of the crowd I saw it with, scratching their heads
thinking, "What the fucK, that was stupid I don't get it." I am stating
that what I am saying is absolute, but if you watch the movie and listen to

All this was obvious, and made painfully obvious in the movie. It doesn't change the fact that it was long, drawn out, overused, and everything else i've claimed the whole time.
