sound effects software, which is the best?
i've heard of a few, but theres a lot to choose from..
basically i wanna be able to create/modify my own digital sound effects... no, not musical loops.. just sound effects.. (sound effects for flash is what i want it for) |

the looping software will help you too .. but as far as sound effects everybody is correct.. either soundforge or cooledit ... if you're on a mac soundedit 16 is tha shit too ..

Sound Forge just got bought up by sony....
Interesting turn of events... Sugestions for you... Wavelab -Pinacle/Stenberg Cool Edit - Synterlium Sound Forge - Sony/Sonic Foundry Those are the big boys of the wave editing end of things. You will also need a handful of VST and DX effects, depending on which host you will use depends on which set you will want. Anyway..Google is your friend...
