Wavelab -Pinacle/Stenberg
Cool Edit - Synterlium
Sound Forge - Sony/Sonic Foundry

Those are the big boys of the wave editing end of things.

You will also need a handful of VST and DX effects, depending on which host you will use depends on which set you will want.
