Trump fucked Tesla MAGA!

Tesla will probably miss its 2019 delivery target range as sales shrink in China amid a trade war between the two countries. The analyst cut his estimate for Tesla’s full-year global car sales by about 10% to 310,000 vehicles, versus the minimum 360,000-unit target the manufacturer set in March. The shares are poised for their seventh day of losses and are down 27% over the past month.

“We are lowering our numbers as a precautionary measure related to two unknowns,” including China’s probable imposition of tariffs on Tesla car imports as well as other impediments such as new regulations on sales or a potential consumer boycott of U.S. goods, Munster said.

Trumps managed to trash brand "Made in the USA", in the biggest export market in the world and likely to be for the next 150 years.

Chinese are making their position clear, their going to make everything in house.. and fuck the USA

“Chinese living across the globe have considerable purchasing power. We can cause a lot of damage to the US economy,” a person wrote in the article’s online comments section.

Viability depends on the success of this

https://electrek.co/2019/05/23/tesla...tory-3-inside/

Trumps managed to get brand USA being trashed in China, So Tesla, GM and Ford can make all the cars they want in China, but its not good if the Chinese simply aren't buying them for the sole reason that their an American brand.

Longer term implications of that are financially catastrophic for America.

I've been to China, saw all sorts of American cars, except they were not American cars, they were Chinese knock offs, that's the problem Trump is addressing

What do these brands have in common?

Rolex, Cartier, Omega,, Tiffany & Co, Chanel, Chanel, Gucci, Dior and Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Hennessy, Remy Martin???.

And the answer is.. China is their biggest market.

China made fakes for your market because when the Americans came to China that's what they asked the Chinese to make. Chinese themselves won't wear that shit.. because its fake, its for westerners and wanna be westerners and you got it.. because you ordered it. Japan was in the same trap until they found their own niches, the generation before you called anything plastic.. Jap Crap

That came back to bite you on the asses bigly and so will be the same with China.

But even then the "fake" market was more in the 80's - 2005, since then China and Asia in general have been clamping down on fake producing companies, sure there's a lot more to be done and you need to realise most of those factories have just moved to other countries.

600kmph Trains in prototype...

Why Elon Musk is a fast talking hustler who preys upon scientifically illiterate bureaucrats to siphon billions of dollars from taxpayers

Quote:
It is estimated that since their respective launches, Tesla, SolarCity, and SpaceX have together benefited from an estimated $4.9 billion in government welfare payments. This means that everyday working folks are having a portion of their hard-earned wages handed over to Musk so he can pump out more Model S electric sedans, for instance, which typically sell to buyers who, on average, boast household incomes of about $320,000.

I think the problem are not the exports to china there are a few more problems:

1. china is the leader of the asian world - asia has near to 60% of the world population. nothing happens in asia without the chinese.

2nd of all not the exports to china hurt the US economy the imports are the problem.

what many people do not understand when they look on a GDP is that the GDP is already cleaned for imports because imports belong to the GDP of the exporting country.

Total productivity - imports = GDP

so if imports become more expensive the -imports would be a lot higher and the result a lot lower. GDP would fall.

you will not see that in the near future in the US GDP because the tariffs trump put on imports are only influencing the selling price and this selling price is reflected in "productivity". this higher price is not belonging to the foreign GDP and can not be deducted from the overall productivity.

so the VISIBLE effect of this tariffs will be a HIGHER GDP !!!!

but it also means that:

a. americans have to pay more for the same products
b. to export products that are now produced with higher costs will result in d
a higher sales price.
c. a higher price will automatically lead to the fact that importers from other countries
will buy it at cheaper places.
d. if the demand for this more expensive products decrease there is no need to produce
them.
you can see this indicators already in the capacity utilisation (what went from 68,2
first to 72.2 and went down after the tax cutt step by to to now 70,3)
and producivity (what went down from 99 to 93,1 since trump)
e. if goods are not produced because they have no demand, the total productivity
goes down and THAN you will see it in the GDP.
the only technical way to get the number looking nice is to produce things that nobody
buys because GDP does not tell you if produced good are sold or not.
but even when someone does that (i.e. by lowering the interest to 0,0% and hope that
factories will lend money on no interest to produce good what they can sell later)
it would end up in a disaster because even if that time would happen it would be used
to sell the goods that have been produced BEFORE.

so it can not work - america can not win ANY trade war and this is not because other countries treat you unfair. it is because the US have created prosperity with such a high debt that you will only work for paying the interest on this debt.

without tesla the e-car market would not explode that fast as it is exploding now.

and e-cars are not only smart for the environment. they will help to calm down the middle east as it makes us more independent from oil.

yes, we now need Russian gas to produce electricity. Or put some coals in the electricity farms. There is only 1 way to get more independent, nuclear plants. But that is not what the ´green´ parties want. While wars, smog, and environment issues caused more deaths than nuclear power. It s good more electricity so you can blow out the bad air somewhere else. Too much smog in many cities.

I think the the invention is nothing spectacular. But it was needed to steam up some traditional car factories who where more busy with fraudulent software and cars than making a cleaner car.

But i have the idea that 1 tesla cars, is paid for 5 times by government subsidies in several different countries. Other car factories have to pay them to compensate, money from governments cause people get free money when they buy electric, the plants get money-tax breaks if they built them there, etcetra.

we used russian gas for the last 50 years - so what?

and even that will become smaller and smaller.

Quote:
Europe's renewable energy leaders are Nordic countries: Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

Since 2012 more than half of the total energy consumed in Sweden has come from renewable sources, according to the International Energy Agency.

This is due in large part to hydroelectric power, which provides more than 40 percent of the country's electricity output. Swedes heat themselves mainly with biofuels.

Denmark—a small, flat country long dependent on energy imports—now gets 43 percent of its electricity from wind power after investment starting in the late 1970s when it began phasing out coal plants.
if we idolize them instead crazy blond hitlers we would get to the goal within the next 20 years.

Quote:
But i have the idea that 1 tesla cars, is paid for 5 times by government subsidies in several different countries. Other car factories have to pay them to compensate, money from governments cause people get free money when they buy electric, the plants get money-tax breaks if they built them there, etcetra.
you know the very good thing on an economy is, that money can not really be burned.
even when this money would go to build buildings what have to be destroyed later it gave people work and food and went from their hands to the next.

nearly all economical hypes in the history have been based on structure changes or rebuilding something.

it may sound crazy but even the 9/11 attacks created more jobs than any other thing.

but just to prevent paul´s next stupid attack: NO - i do not mean that terror is a good idea to help the economy.

What i mean with the gas, electricity must be produced. No matter if it is a car engine, or use a powerplant driven by gas or coal. Gas can´t be good, in Holland they want to cut ever household of gas and make it much more expensive. Holland had gas, but now we got earthquakes in return. Now some windparks in the North sea and look how fish like the resonating sounds and maybe we can chop up some birds with the fans.

And now Russia is looking to get the gasfields in the Antartic cause that is possible now it gets a little bit warmer. You think gas is good for the environment... Thanks to Germany that wants a new Nordstream II pipeline. I wonder when people realize that a growing economy go hand in hand with more pollution and environmental issues. The economy is growing harder than windmills and solar panels are being installed to keep up with the energy needed.

Musk is good in talking with companies and governments to get money. And drive the stock price up with tweets Now tweeting is forbidden, he sent emails that land in the hands of journalist... I wanted to short it, but the problem is that you never know when it drops. And it did and now they say that tesla stocks can go back to 10 usd in a worse case scenario. That is when governments realize they pay for nothing, or a crisis with china, or just another stupid tweet about one of the Thai cave divers. Well, he called every man that lives in Thailand a pedofile..

You can call him the Trump of the Car Industry, no profits, narcist, burns money, stupid tweets.

Every country can be sustainable, France is sustainable with all its nuclear plants. There is many research that it is impossible to use only wind and solar. Too much problems when there is no wind or sun. Maybe when batteries are getting better it could be interesting.

Most articles i read about the ´Energiewende´ is that it failed.

Musk says Tesla will be out of money in 10 months without ‘hardcore’ changes
Both he and Tesla’s new CFO will personally review employee expenses

Elon Musk told Tesla employees the company will run out of cash in about 10 months unless “hardcore” cost-cutting efforts are made, according to an all-staff email obtained by Reuters and Electrek. The cost-cutting measures are necessary despite the fact that Tesla just raised $2.7 billion earlier this month, Musk said in the email.

https://www.theverge.com/2019/5/17/1...loyee-expenses

Tesla seeks to raise $2.3bn after concerns it is running out of money
Company announced last week it had lost $702m in the first three months of the year and sold 31% fewer vehicles in the first quarter

That first 'profit' was a Bernie Madoff action.

this is only true in parts. alternative energy does not only mean to produce all what we need from renewable - it also means to find smarter ways to reduce energy.
look what we have reached with LED technology.
the use of energy up to 20 years ago was a 10% efficiency. today we already doubled that and in another 10 years we will triple it up.

he does have great visions but for some reason he does not get things in the right order.
he does the third step before the first and I was pretty astonished that the shares went up that much with someone in the background that works that unorganized.

we do have this problem not only because we are polluting more - we have it because we killed the rainforest and took space from all this plants that would be able to eat the co2.

but we use this space to produce food for animal that give us 2,5% of the energy back that they eat.

in the meantime China got this pot also because they are already world leader in this technology while americans still dream the coal dream.

this technology and it´s market is much bigger as everything else we have seen before.
it is THE FUTURE it will produce MUCH MORE jobs as any other industry that ever exited.

and i can see it happening everywhere. even in germany where there is not that much sun my parents in law get paid every month because the produce more as they can use.

this is unstoppable - and it is good !

it did not fail - it is just not that fast to make - especially when you don´t get the world working together.

China, Russia, USA, EU, all do their part to pollute more. There is always climate change. And i can tell you that nothing will change, we pollute more, china keeps destroying forest for minerals, just like Russia. As long as there will be living more and more people on the earth, the more minerals we need. China is making harbours everwyhere to get the minerals to China. Can't blame china, the west also buys Chinese products as cheap as possible.

In Holland people don't want the windmills. At least, not the people living next to them. In the Provence Groningen whole landscape will be destroyed with 300 meter high windturbines. First they took the gas out of the ground so there are earthquakes. And now destroy the landscape and again the Provence get nothing in return. The windturbines make a lot of noise, the shadows are like a stroboscope, the fans cut birds, the view of the landscape is gone. Now they will build some at sea, look what happens than.

Holland could have been rich when we would have saved the money from the gas like in Sweden. But the whole social system burnt the money.

The energiewende won't create more jobs some studies showed. Making leds has nothing to do with the energiewende. They always try to make things efficient as possible and use less energy. They saw that wen they produced the concorde.

But in the end we all want a better environment. But the green parties have a history of blowing money and run behind the facts. And the most important, they will stop everything what has to do with nuclear power. In the end Nuclear power related solutionshave a brighter future than solarpanels. But with the green, not much will be invested there… Bill gates is investing in it.. And i think he is much smarter than 99% of the politicians.

And what climate change, if we listened to the people 10 years ago we must have been dead by now. They will say that they saved the world and thanks to them we are still alive ;) There where new studies in Holland, the sea level is NOT rising in Holland. The last years it was even lower! And also the rising of the sealevel hasn't been accelerating. And the gound is going down more, than that the sea level is going up. So we might get 18 centimeter sealevel rise in 2120.

But we keep making children afraid that the end of the world has gone and we all going to die. Like a religion. And i don't like religions and how they work.

Hydrogen Power cars are electric. You learned this lesson last time I think, right? How long did that take you? 8 years? Anyway, don't forget, they are electric.

The difference between a Hydrogen Fuel Electric Car and a Lithium Battery Electric car is only in how it receives the energy, and stores the energy.

To get the energy for a Hydrogen-based car, you have to drive it to the gas station. The hydrogen at the station has to be transported there by trucks.

You can get the energy for a battery based electric car from your home just by plugging it in.

EV cars are everywhere and the infrastructure is growing super-fast. Hold on to Hydrogen all you want but I don't see it going very far anytime soon.

https://www.scmp.com/news/china/dipl...mps-suggestion

Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei has dismissed Donald Trump’s suggestion that the company be included in a trade deal between the United States and China. Ren said the idea was a “big joke”, adding that the Chinese telecoms giant had nothing to do with the US-China trade war. “The US has never bought products from us. Even if the US wants to buy our products in the future, I may not sell to them. There is no need for negotiation,” said Ren.

“I will ignore Trump. Then with whom can he negotiate?

“If he calls me, I may not answer, but he doesn’t have my number. I see his tweets and think it’s laughable because they’re self-contradictory, How did he become a master of the art of the deal?”
