look at the election results. the greens are up everywhere. in the german votes they seem to be the STRONGEST party in the EU parliament from now on.
this is only true in parts. alternative energy does not only mean to produce all what we need from renewable - it also means to find smarter ways to reduce energy.
look what we have reached with LED technology.
the use of energy up to 20 years ago was a 10% efficiency. today we already doubled that and in another 10 years we will triple it up.
Musk is a strange guy - there is no doubt.
he does have great visions but for some reason he does not get things in the right order.
he does the third step before the first and I was pretty astonished that the shares went up that much with someone in the background that works that unorganized.
but how many people had to die til the first plane flew without a crash?
how many backstrokes til mankind went to the moon?
there are so many other ideas that are great but the VERY best of all is to work on alternative food production.
we do have this problem not only because we are polluting more - we have it because we killed the rainforest and took space from all this plants that would be able to eat the co2.
but we use this space to produce food for animal that give us 2,5% of the energy back that they eat.
it did not fail - it is just not that fast to make - especially when you donīt get the world working together.
as long as people like trump prefer to deny the climate change because it would kill his weapon exports things can not be done that fast as they should be done.
in the meantime China got this pot also because they are already world leader in this technology while americans still dream the coal dream.
this technology and itīs market is much bigger as everything else we have seen before.
it is THE FUTURE it will produce MUCH MORE jobs as any other industry that ever exited.
and i can see it happening everywhere. even in germany where there is not that much sun my parents in law get paid every month because the produce more as they can use.
this is unstoppable - and it is good !

China, Russia, USA, EU, all do their part to pollute more. There is always climate change. And i can tell you that nothing will change, we pollute more, china keeps destroying forest for minerals, just like Russia. As long as there will be living more and more people on the earth, the more minerals we need. China is making harbours everwyhere to get the minerals to China. Can't blame china, the west also buys Chinese products as cheap as possible.
In Holland people don't want the windmills. At least, not the people living next to them. In the Provence Groningen whole landscape will be destroyed with 300 meter high windturbines. First they took the gas out of the ground so there are earthquakes. And now destroy the landscape and again the Provence get nothing in return. The windturbines make a lot of noise, the shadows are like a stroboscope, the fans cut birds, the view of the landscape is gone. Now they will build some at sea, look what happens than.
Holland could have been rich when we would have saved the money from the gas like in Sweden. But the whole social system burnt the money.
The energiewende won't create more jobs some studies showed. Making leds has nothing to do with the energiewende. They always try to make things efficient as possible and use less energy. They saw that wen they produced the concorde.
But in the end we all want a better environment. But the green parties have a history of blowing money and run behind the facts. And the most important, they will stop everything what has to do with nuclear power. In the end Nuclear power related solutionshave a brighter future than solarpanels. But with the green, not much will be invested there… Bill gates is investing in it.. And i think he is much smarter than 99% of the politicians.
And what climate change, if we listened to the people 10 years ago we must have been dead by now. They will say that they saved the world and thanks to them we are still alive ;) There where new studies in Holland, the sea level is NOT rising in Holland. The last years it was even lower! And also the rising of the sealevel hasn't been accelerating. And the gound is going down more, than that the sea level is going up. So we might get 18 centimeter sealevel rise in 2120.
