Google Dictator Of The Century!
If we use word Dictator for Google then its the right word or some will use more bad word for them who wants to dictate internet sites the way want. If their revenue is going down for their drop in advertisements then we as adult Webmaster not responsible for that.
They start sending notifications for abusive experience ads to user and asking to remove all ads and pops because they don’t like it. If we didn’t remove then they putting enforcement on site and banning all ads and pop on sites to open nee window tabs. They giving 30 days notice to remove ads or face enforcement. They becoming internet police to dictate webmaster. They send traffic but not to all sites and if webmatsr remove ads and popup then how come the webmaster pay the site bill to host..... Dont know how you people feel for them but situation is getting worst day by day... any othrr webmaster received notifications and what action taken so far please... |

I took the thread title literally, and duly googled "Dictator of the century"...
Then I was confused as to why I didn't see any strange or weird results ![]() |

Edit: 247MG - Adult Indian Affiliate Program should be SSL, you might want to fix that. Edit: I am thinking this might be what you're being hit with: https://searchengineland.com/google-...ds-site-280970 If that's the case then simply clean up your site. Surfers don't want popups, popunders, unwanted redirects and other spammy shit. |

Ok that's what I thought it was.
This is simply fixed. Get rid of popups and popunders. Make sure there's no javascript on your page that will launch a pop up, new tab or pop under that a user hasn't explicitly clicked on and expects that pop up, pop under or new tab. Make sure ads on your site comply with the Better Ads standards. You can read them here: https://www.betterads.org/standards/ Then submit your site for review and there should be no issue. Apple will be implementing Better Ads standards in Safari from February. Firefox will probably follow and Chrome definitely implements ad blocking for sites not meeting those standards which is why you got a warning. https://searchengineland.com/google-...ds-site-280970 |

We only using exoclick ads banner and pop but it seems that pop time is over and we have to comply with dictator. In contact with exoclick to sort this matter out but popup is not an option any more which mean paying server bills is hard next month

I'm using popunders and get that warning too. Worst thing is I'm not sure the problem is only popunders or some other ad formats (for example - sticky, invideo, vast, push etc).
I have "google ad compliance" ON on all ads from Exoclick and still warning. |

Push notification and sticky as far as i know are google compliant and no issue but it seems popups indeed and issue even with google ad compliance on at exoclick. But exoclick staff is helpful, you should consult with them. All ad brokers are very well aware of this issue but at this point only exo offering google compliant ads

No need to change stuff straight away after getting notification..... you can wait till last date and apply for review after chaging thing but issue is only 2 reviews before permanent ban or exforcement

Once again, if you cloak google bot/entities, then you can do whatever you want. Ah well, i guess i need to open special thread to explain how that works since i getting screwed by this as well-even tho i work as media buyer and not as webmaster anymore, if publisher lose traffic or remove pop then i lose too.

Now, where did I read that private companies can decide for themselves how to conduct their business?

The Better Ads Standards exist because consumers (your customers) got so completely sick of being abused by ads that they installed ad blockers and blocked ALL ads, which is bad for all of us. Clean up your act, if you can't make money from non intrusive ads then you don't deserve to be in business, it's better if you shut your site down. Throwing popups, unwanted notifications, misleading redirects etc is all bad for business. Quote:

If you're getting away without warnings for popups and popunders now then that won't last long, read the Better Ads Standards and become compliant to avoid issues. Google isn't mucking about with this stuff, if you have two strikes you're out and it will be very hard to get back to displaying any ads at all if you get this wrong. Quote:
Quote:
![]() Yep, it's been in the SEO and Search media for ages. I think some people have just stuck their head in the sand and hoped it would go away. Quote:

Unless publishers stop abusing surfers with things they don't want the number of adblocker installs will increase and advertising revenue will continue to decrease. Logic dictates that blocking all ads in Chrome is only the beginning, next Google will probably start deindexing pages that don't comply. Bing will follow. |

Our enforcement date is 10th Jan. so by 1st or 2nd it will be submitted for reveiw.... every thing is prepared and we known what need to be changed. Mostly the issue is with popunder and there is no exception we have to remove it. Its called thin or transparent background.

The last thing i would do, is to ad my site to a fucking google tool like WM, to get the shit fixed.
I have a site with only one ad zone (exo pop 24 hours) still got blocked in Chrome. If these crimes, would like to do something for bether ads, they sould start at their own adsens ad farms. Meanwhile simple text links got blocked. If Chrome user didnt make you money, block them. Best Regards

https://www.betterads.org/standards/ It's simple, easy and common sense. Don't abuse surfers with ads that give them unexpected results. For example JS redirects, or popunders, popups, interstitials etc. When someone clicks on a link make sure the link just takes them to the linked site and doesn't do anything else. It's very simple, logical. Think of yourself looking at websites, just don't do the stuff you hate. |

An affiliate link by itself shouldn't cause issues with the better ads standards, but if you have other stuff going on like popups or popunders then they will probably flag affiliate links as well. Until a human reviewer flags your site and then you're screwed. Nobody can outsmart Google in the end. You might get away with something for a while but when Google catch on you're in strife. |

Yep, lots of cloaked sites in Google's SERPs, including image search, some are there for pretty long time... this is what they should fix, including their fucking new Gmail that is still slow as fuck and almost useless... this should not be their job to dictate webmasters what kind of ads are fine and what are not for surfers... surfers that don't like popups can install popup blockers. surfers also don't like their fucking misleading adwords ads, ads in Youtube videos etc... hope this shit will be blocked too.

You're also free to use Bing, oh wait, they're going to be doing it too. I don't get why this is such an issue for people. Surfers hate popunders, they hate popups and clicking on things that don't behave as expected. Provide a surfer friendly experience, provide value to your website visitors and you'll come out ahead anyway. |
