Only experience I ever had with a christian children's type charity organization I later found out that the employees had been sifting through the donations and taking what they wanted first and that the overhead involved in these charities only left about 9% of donations to actually go to the charities. That's when I discovered that charity begins at home and if I see someone that needs something worse than I do I will get it for them.

Hell no, the PR person that works for the organization wrote it. Poop If you want to donate to a needy childrens fun I will send you my paypal info. My sons need new shoes and my daughter needs a new bike. But seriously though. If you want to donate your money is so much better spent if you find a local shelter or soup kitchen or something that actually does help the needy and doesn't take it all for overhead.
