Only experience I ever had with a christian children's type charity organization I later found out that the employees had been sifting through the donations and taking what they wanted first and that the overhead involved in these charities only left about 9% of donations to actually go to the charities. That's when I discovered that charity begins at home and if I see someone that needs something worse than I do I will get it for them.

I think I will donate. Their infomercials are driving me mad, and I lost my remote to switch the channel!! :BangBang:

and who do you think wrote and designed the brochure some impartial third party that has nothing to gain by the donations to the organization? Hell no, the PR person that works for the organization wrote it. Poop If you want to donate to a needy childrens fun I will send you my paypal info. My sons need new shoes and my daughter needs a new bike. But seriously though. If you want to donate your money is so much better spent if you find a local shelter or soup kitchen or something that actually does help the needy and doesn't take it all for overhead.
