candid hosting support the worst ever

i'm trying for over 4 days now to have an functional email on this guys....for over 7 days since i left from datahosters i've tried to make my server to run...this guys from candid is impossible guys...their selesmans rock but techsupport u dont see such loosers too much..
4 days for an fuking email ????!!!! LOLOLOL and time is passing...so maybe it will be more then 4 days...i dont beleve that i paid for this shit..LOLOL...

ps
btw...weekdays they dont have any admin sys around....i just called them now and one guy from the office said that its not any admin there..its weekend...fuk them..so thier statement with 24/24 7/7 bla bla bla its a veri BIG joke....
and i cant submit my galleries becouse i dont have a fucking email working...
and like i said before..i paid for this..lolololol

Anyway my email doesn't work too but I'm working on it now ;)

Support answers after couple of hours for me... from 16 till 2 AM CET

You're a moron, Do you not understand how many servers they had dumped on them since the collapse of Datahosters? Its fucking insane, they probably havent stopped working nonstop and that is just in order to configure them all. Tech problems are likely to occur you just have to be patient. I am sure your important "gallery submissions" can wait a few more days.

I agree thier tech support leaves something to be desired. I had to wait for over 30 days fro them to get something worked out for me that shouldnt have taken that much time. I dont mind waiting as I realise they have a ton of clients, but some kind of communication during that 30 days would have been nice. All I did was send emails for status about once a week and they were never answered. Finally I got the sales guy involved and went back and forth with him, which I appreciate at least him answering. Finally about a week ago or so I got an email out of the blue saying that the configuration I wanted was done and sure enough it was finally!

Great company I just think they need to work some more on thier admins, or perhaps get someone who can communicate a bit better in between....

I've posted in other threads before that candid is a great host. I have been with them for years and their uptime rocks. Ask Quiet about candid, he always gives the thumbs up.

However, I have to agree that Candid's support even when they aren't setting up 100+ new servers is very slow if you go through their ticket support system.

ex: last week I got them to change a mail forwarding on one of my domains and it took almost 20 hours to get it done. I know if I were with Natnet or Flying Croc it would have taken an hour or less.

But as a whole, if you really HAVE to get something done, you can call their tech support via phone and they always have someone there. Even at 4am!

Well, i would agree if you want to say they have the potential to be great. But a company cant be great if they have poor communication skills. Thats just a contradiction in terms.

call them on the phone or icq them and stay on with support while they do it for you. that way, if it doesn't work for you, you can tell them in realtime and they can keep at it.

i had the same problem. turned out that the way datahosters configured my email didn't work on candid's servers.
