If he really gave a shit he would have waited until the flood was over ALL the damage was done. All he did was use up more resources that could have been used to Rescue a Family.

This was simple. All he needed to do was meet with some of the victims and say some nice words. Instead he talk about how "huge" the storm was and how "huge" the crowd was.

All he had to do was meet with a victim and say "I'm sorry this happened to you" and "We stand with you" or "the nation stands with you" and offer up some solutions such as "I talked to members of Congress and we are putting together an aid package". But instead he talked about how large the crowd was.

This man isn't a leader at all. This was so simple. And he failed. Again. This has been eight months of fail.

We are now a week into this event and Trump has done nothing. National Net sent a truck full of water to Texas this morning - National Net has done more than our president has.

Actually if he cared about PR, meeting a victim would be the obvious and easiest way to do it.
Effective way to spend the time would be not waste time posing with the victim, but do something else.
