Got A "Portfolio Display" tpircsavaj ?

Hey,

Ya know on most web design sites in their Portfolio sections many of them have a Porftfolio display thing where u can get like a slideshow of the sites they've designed, pics are all shown in some viewing area on the same page using j a v a s c r i p t/DHTML. I need to find one of these scripts. So far I have not found any.

Thanks for any tips on where to find one

yup i could use Flash easily for this but Flash pisses alot of people off, rather use normal ol' HTML.

i love Flash but i've been coming to the conclusion that it's not worth it, get too many people bitching. It has its place but not for web design.

The problem isn't with Flash, it's with the developer and project spec. If you're worried about users having the plugin/going through the download hassle, make sure whatever is created in Flash conforms to older plugin versions. Flash 5 has something along the lines of 93% penetration rate worlwide, and Flash 4 is even higher. You can find more info here - http://www.macromedia.com/software/f...html#appendixI

Mutt,

Here is something that may help.

This is my old portfolio I had a couple years ago...

http://www.ealabs.com/studio/web/awm/portfolio.html

I just upped the HTML and JS for ya...pay no attention to the actual content. I didn't want to upload the entire portfolio.

Also,

If you use Dreamweaver, check out:

http://www.projectseven.com/extensions/index.htm

They have awesome Dreamweaver Extensions that allow you to use DHTML with ease.
