Got A "Portfolio Display" tpircsavaj ?
Hey,
Ya know on most web design sites in their Portfolio sections many of them have a Porftfolio display thing where u can get like a slideshow of the sites they've designed, pics are all shown in some viewing area on the same page using j a v a s c r i p t/DHTML. I need to find one of these scripts. So far I have not found any. Thanks for any tips on where to find one |
makes ya wonder where they got it
most designers dont know shit about scripts. |
|
You can use flash too for a slideshow if you know something about actionscripting :1orglaugh
|
nope they don't. most come from places like DynamicDrive, i couldn't find one there.
i could use hahahahahaha or regular frames but i'd rather do it using j a v a s c r i p t |
yup i could use Flash easily for this but Flash pisses alot of people off, rather use normal ol' HTML.
i love Flash but i've been coming to the conclusion that it's not worth it, get too many people bitching. It has its place but not for web design. |
These guys have a few image scrollers
http://www.crays.com/jsc/index.htm you'll find them in code 4U |

Mutt,
Here is something that may help. This is my old portfolio I had a couple years ago... http://www.ealabs.com/studio/web/awm/portfolio.html I just upped the HTML and JS for ya...pay no attention to the actual content. I didn't want to upload the entire portfolio. Also, If you use Dreamweaver, check out: http://www.projectseven.com/extensions/index.htm They have awesome Dreamweaver Extensions that allow you to use DHTML with ease. |
That was mighty nice of you Eric. :thumbsup
Cheers, Matt |
